There is no correct answer to that question. There's Dark Side of The Moon and everything else...

Seriously, this is a generational question. Those who are 60+ will have one answer. Those of us 40+ will have another set and the youngn's will have quite the other.

My generation speaking...

Dark Side of The Moon

Sargent Peppers

The White Album

Blizzard of Oz

Diary of a Madman

Too hard to nail down 5 for me as it also depends on the genre (and I like a lot of music), at the moment in no particular order it might be something like this.

Rush: Hemispheres
King Crimson: Red
Porcupine Tree: In Absentia
Marillion: Misplaced Childhood
Peter Gabriel: Up

Tomorrow would probably be a different answer.

From a guy that graduated high school in the US during the mid-70's:

Beatles: Abbey Road
Faces: A Nod is as Good as a Wink . . .
Jefferson Airplane: Surrealistic Pillow
The Jimi Hendrix Experience: Smash Hits
Rolling Stones: Out of Our Heads

Comments: Considered U2's Joshua Tree but decided it was too polished. Considered the White Album but Revolution #9 is still too intense for me with headphones on. :)
