Breaking Bad

S

Scrappy-doo

If Hank goes after Walt he destroys his own family. I find him in a silmilar situation as Skylar. If he did go after Walt, he also may have a difficult time explaining how his medical bills were paid for.

On another note, this is the second time Walt has left crucial evidence right on Hanks lap. He's begging to be caught. Who the fuck leaves a book like that on the toilet for reading? Stupidity or conscience.

damn you know your facts. are you part of the writing team. LOL i dont remember which school either went too lol

We all have our super talents. You have x-ray vision and the power of flight. I have near total recall when it comes to inane facts about tv shows. Who came out on top of that one?

walt can explain away the g.b. as a work acquaintance or anyone really. it's not like it's dated or the name is spelled out. walt could say it was given to him 20 years ago if he wanted. it'd also help explain why walt knew the part of the poem gale had written about in his notebook.

if hank was smart he could compare the writing to see if it matched gale's though. unless he does it's all speculation. at this point hank still has plausible deny-ability, he can play dumb, but if walt gets caught he's screwed. i'd think hank would break bad just to save his own ass even though he didn't want to. i could be wrong though.....as has been previously stated. i was stoned and it was late. plus, i figured you knew what i meant anyway.

Sure, it can be explained away. But the entire point is not to get Hank and co. suspecting him in the first place. From Hank's face, he's clearly made the connection. Look at what happened to Mike when he had the eye on him before the lawyer got caught red-handed. Just having the heat on him, was enough to make Mike walk away. Walt is nowhere near as trained and detached as Mike.

I still think that there's no way Hank comes near this in an official capacity with all the agency's resources considering his rehab benefactor.

My proposed timeline on what will happen next season...

1. Hank knows what Walt is doing and secretly sets up a surveillance team to follow Walt's every move.

2. Walt gets threatened by a group of eastern european gangsters. Keep cooking, or you and your family get got.

3. Hank confronts Walt with what he knows OR Walt goes to Hank for help as he really has no choice at this point.

4. Walt agrees to wear a wire and works with Hank to bust Euro cartel.

5. Walt is eventually killed by the cartel, but not before saving his family from certain death by having gathered enough info for Hank to make the bust. Hank gets the bust of a lifetime and a promotion.

The end.

Obviously, Walt's going to be experiencing a shit ton of loss. Maybe Jr or the baby accidentally OD on blue meth.

I am truly stunned. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I see no interest in watching a television show that sensationalizes the production/sale/use of meth. I worked as a bouncer years ago and even dabbled in the sales of meth. It's not a pretty world. I suppose I can add "Breaking Bad" to the list of popular shows I will not watch...like Southpark and all the other "crap" they spew out there for the masses...

Breaking bad is a character study and a morality play.

The meth is incidental.

Cheers.

I'm fully aware that the "meth" is simply the "medium" that "binds" the characters...and their morals. It's still disgusting. How would you feel if they had a television series based upon NAMBLA as the "incidental"? Meth destroys lives. Sensationalizing it into a television series is...and I will qualify this as MY OPINION ONLY...disgusting as I've witnessed what meth does first hand.

I could be wrong, but I think that's the whole point of the show.

And yet everyone loves it, do they not? Is it like watching a train wreck? Is it like watching those "reality shows" (that I don't watch either) where we can feel good that our lives are so much better than the poor souls portrayed for our entertainment?

Bread and Circuses...(nobody seems to get the corollary).

Hmmmm........

There is reality......then there is television. There IS a difference.

The show hardly sensationalizes meth itself and how many other TV shows are based on "immoral" topics?

LOTS of judgement from someone who used to sling meth.........

But, that's just my :2cents:
