Large Pumpkin Growing

Got the cable I needed today to transfer pics from the camera to computer. Here is a pic of my best plant. Yeah, i know I'm behind on the weeding.Pic of pumpkin coming in the next post.

This one currently weighs about 200 lbs according to the pumpkin measuring tape. Its gaining 5 to 10 lbs a day. I stepped up the fertilizer and the watering so I'm hoping for bigger daily gains.

wow, Shack! That is quite a pumpkin! How do you plan to use it?

I planted a Jack-O-Lantern (small variety) a couple weeks ago.. hoping I'll get a little one in time for Halloween.. : )

Hey there O Rabbit, I was gonna enter it in the county fair but its not near big enough., so I'll just make a big jack'o lantern with it.
Got a couple pics of some late comers that might make 400 lbs or more if they keep gaining weight at the proper rate. They are at about 140 lbs right now.

I HAVE GOT TO TRY THIS. Watch out next year I'll be doing some big Pumpkins. The next thing will be to build a Trebouche large enough to launch one of the big ones. CAN"T WAIT!!!!!!

I finally got my camera fixed..I love all the pics Shack,great job.
So here we go with pics from yesterday..These all taped at 1100 to 1400 LB's.and one more month of growing..some of these are putting on 20 LB's a day..Cant take credit for all of these,but you'll be seeing me at Elk Grove and Half Moon Bay weighoffs.

Whoa, Turtle Farmer, you got it going on bro. Thats what I'm shooting for, I've yet to grow a 1000 lber.
I see your growing a Stelts, My last pics(the late bloomers)are from a Stelts 1537., just didn't get it started early enough.

Did any IC maggers make it to the Heirloom Festival in Santa Rosa??
I did not,forgot all about it.
A giant pumpkin popped open and so did my giant watermelon.
