Hey there fellow growers im going to try Tom Hills recipe this year for ten pounders but i was just looking for some advice as to what strains to try.

Here is a list its a bit of a long one but any advise would be great thanks: Barneys farm Sweet Tooth, Bomb seeds Berry Bomb, Delicious seeds Critical Super Silver Haze and Cotton Candy, Emerald Triangle seeds Blueberry Headband and Bubba 76, G13 Labs Pineapple Express, Green House seeds Big Bang and Train Wreak, Humboldt Seed Organisation Lemon Thai Kush, Kannabia seeds Mataro Blue, Nirvana seeds PPP (pure power plant), Paradise seeds Ice Cream, Reserva Privada seeds Skywalker OG, OG Kush and Sour Kush (Aka Headband), Sweet seeds Cream Caramel, Positronics seeds Critical #47 and last but not least Samsara seeds Holy Grail 69.:biggrin: Cant wait to crack some.....

So what do you guy's think has the best chances of reaching 10Lb..........?

DEFINITELY NOT OG Kush

Thai Kush is a bit of a misnomer isn't it? But if it is Thai, That'd probably be a good bet

Critical SSH Sounds like it may have potential.

I would have to agree with stoned. Critical ssh does have potential to be high yielding. This wasn't on your list but a friend of mine grew some ak 48 and it was a huge yielder and very potent.

A name wrongly or unsuitably applied to a person or an object.

Unless it's thai x kush However Thai and Kush are generally seen as the complete opposite ends of the cannabis spectrum

MrSterling

There are Kushes, plants whose origins lie in the Kush mountains of Afghanistan and Pakistan, and "kushes", relatives of OG Kush who don't have any actual Kush genetics.

P

Prairie Boy

I saw pics several years ago of an Aussie growin 8lb black domina trees.I thought that was mindblowing! No experiance with that strain tho.Look forward to yer grow.

Cheers PB

Something else you might want to take into consideration is the Californian summer has pretty much zero rain.

I dont know where you are but if you do get rain maybe look for something that has a bit of mold resistance.

Good luck with it...10lb plants are pretty impressive.

Hi Seeker,

Cheers mate.....There is nothing special about what I do, its just I am old and have made all the mistakes and now i get it right:biggrin:

Honestly if you want measurements for pots then you cant go past Tom and the Cal crew for info. I just build big compost piles and use that, so I have no idea what measurments I use.

Have fun with what you are doing and good luck, Ill be pulling up a chair:tiphat:

Hey Kanga trust me you have done so much for thre aussie cannabis culture just by keeping MM genetica alive and also the crosses u have been working on are insperational, That is one of the reasons i have started my own project which is in but also i think us aussies need some more of our own genetics wich we can create by in-breeding and acclimatizing the plants.

I have been growing for about 12 years so i think i might go with my own experiance i was going to put about 1 1/2 bags of chicken manuer, 1/2 a bag of blood and bone with calcium, also about 1/2 a bag of gypsum and dolomite lime and i was going to add perlite and coco by eye for water retention and air also to fluff the mix up to make 8ft x 8ft or 6ft x 6ft mounds.

Sorry for all the questions but do u use compost teas or do u apply any folia feeds like calcium, ect.
