ive been reading quite a bit about alien hybrids what do folk think of these strains and were would i find a good representation in seed form,

Alien kush is great and a good breeding tool.
Aliendog is also great, seems to have bumped up the yields of the D.
I have made quote a few crosses with these. All of which came out tasty.
Sour bubble x aliendog, c99 x alien dog, sweet tooth3 x aliendog, wifi x alien dog and white master kush x alien kush.
I didnt have much luck with my alien dog pack, ended up with all males.
Thinking of making alien kush f3's with my second pack.
Can not comment on the other alien tech crosses.

I have Alien4, which I think is Alien x Chemdawg 4.
It is a bit picky as far as lighting is concerned. With good lighting you'll grow a good yield of dense, resinous buds. If it gets slightly less than ideal light it yields nothing but shitty, airy, little trichomes.
That said, it's in my stable.

Really, no one has been given the opportunity to judge the pure Alien Tech on it's own merits. I've no doubt it was decent, or slightly better. The only thing I can attest to is that LVPK is a good plant, throwing excellent weed with favorable traits, and the resulting cross wasn't as impressive as it was made out to be. I've yet to see an alien kush that was better than the sum of her parts (errr.. the LVPK, anyway) and really thought the potency/smell/flav that the AT seemed to dominate and pass was a bit of a let down.

One pretty common factor with my experience so far, which is with genetics from alien the breeder, is a purple smell/taste. I'm assuming this must come from the LVPK but have no experience with it. It has come through in a number of plants from the Kraken and Optimus Prime, and seems to be a common trait passed from his male. So far from what has grown out or is currently flowering, around 30 to 40 percent have some purple in the scent profile.
Cherry is another smell I'm noticing come up. These I have noticed on the Alien Grenades. Real interesting haven't had that flavor in my garden yet. Other dominant traits from the father are tight rock hard nugs and lots of frost. The ones that lean toward the father don't stretch all that much.
I also got Raskals Fire Alien which is fire og x alien kush. So far I am real pleased with my experiences with the alien line.

I prefer Chem D over Aliendawg F1.
have had numerous buds from reversed AlienDawg F1 crosses, and for the most part i prefer the original clones more than any of the hybrids.
Alien tech seems like it was good for adding frost, yield, and vigor. I dont know if it really improves strains from a smoking perspective, but probably improves them from a growers perspective
Flowering some Alien OG right now. It has a good yield, lil frost, and very little smell..She's getting the boot!
