Day 28 of 12/12.


The girl in the yellow pot got overfed a tad in the middle of the week, i gave it a good flush for 2 days and been slowly increasing feeding.

Still working on the PM problem, haven't done the milk remedy yet.



Same main stem as last week, as it shall stay every week.

in the cab, this main stems bud will be as long as this lighter when its done growing i already can tell, the way the bud sites are pushing up into the other ones i can only hope for dense nugs.
Smell is still not quiet there, its very feint.




im making a educated guess on yield of a total combined weight of a Ounce. Leaning towards more..

Gave them the milk+water spray today, also removed pretty much ALL growth i saw with PM on it, wasnt too many leaves, removed a few extra to provide better airflow through the canopy.
The lower buds look sooo frosty... i cant wait to try this strain!



Does taking the cage screen thingy off the fan fan make the air flow better?

They are actually starting to make the box stink, thats good
They are getting more nice each day.

what kinda cage/screen? just something so the leaves wont get into it? probably wouldnt make that much of a difference depending on the size of the holes. what are u using for odor control? mine stink pretty good. im usng ona block at the moment. does the job for me.

Im using this stuff i got from the OC Fair called "Scent Bomb" its a concentrated air freshener. Mines "Mango tropical" smelling. 1 squirt on a cotton swab that i put on the exhaust fan, lasts a few days. It can cover any smell... it can clear a room out in 1 squirt, i spray it with the window open lol.
Mine are just starting to get their stank.
Can't really explain it yet, too feint.

cage wouldnt cause too much more airflow. probably would be undetected if any. rub them ladies and sniff their beautiful aroma!

I gave one of the lower buds a squeeze and sniff and its definitely an OG of some sort. I'm getting a Lemon lime/fuel stank. That smell i always get in my nose when i go to the clinic and i start taking sniffs of the OG jars.

heres another one of them in the box,


I have the lights angled so they are not only lighting the tops, but the sides of the biggest nugs.
in the back where you cant see the 2 lights are angled so the tip of the bulb almost hits the edge of the plants.


my camera doesnt do justice at all, they are more frosty then you guys see i promise! I also promise to get a GOOD picture of the nugs after harvest.




also one of the bulbs was taken out just cause its starting to get hot here in so cal. next round is going to be way better when i get the proper fans and stuff for this box, this is sort of like i said in the 1st page, a test grow.

So i think ima have to call this one sadly, this Powdery Mildew aint going away. so my plan is to just kill this round and start over after i sterilize the box/closet then get some better airflow/filtration.

It saddens me, but the way the plants are looking in the past 48 hours its not seeming like its worth the trouble.

The leaf tips started to curl upwards and i had lots of dry leafs from the def pretty bad, so i feel like this is the best option...

Sorry guys i dont get to finish out this round, but like ive said this was a test round, and odviously i found out what i needed to know

Hopefully its not too long before i can get this all resolved and going again.

My 2 options are...

(more expensive)Perpetual 3 rows of 3 so 9 plants total, rotating 3in/out every 3 weeks



or

1 plant scrog, with the screen i already have made.

i'll decide once the time comes i guess.

I'm going to also do soil next round. I like soil more the hempy method. One day i'll try out all the other types of hydro and find the one i love.

Yeah they looked okay in the pics, but they got worse the last few days, plus in the pics you couldn't see the PM on the lower buds, the leaves got pretty bad.

i bet. sad shit. yeah i would love to do a diff medium one day. but the chances for any kind of problems are high as hell for me. plus 1 fuck up and u can call it a day. ill stick to the dirt. once i can find some root solution in this area ill be good to go on some clones. although theyll just be what i already have. should help with time/veg a lot better plus no guessing and not having enough, etc. stay safe.
