After reading through this thread and seeing the great pics and the great write-ups about the SSSDH Im more excited than ever to flower mine out.

A friend gave me his pack of 4 SSSDH reg seeds. Got 1 Male and 3 Females. The 3 females all look very similar. I got one thats finally growing out some bottom branches, but these girls are gonna be 32" tall in veg before I can flip them because I need to take cuttings to put in my EZ-CLONE 120. They are stubbornly top cola dominant and I refuse to top them just so I can take a few cuttings quicker.

I will certainly LST the clones for the next run.

All 3 ladies are finally ready to give out a cutting from each pheno and put into flower tomorrow.
Ill be putting them in my EZ-CLONE 120 for only 10 cuttings in order to ensure I get perfect results. I can only get 1 cutting each from the 2 top cola dom phenos, and a bunch of cuttings from the branchy pheno so I got to make sure those cuts take.

I got 2 Dinafem Super Silver Hazes that are ready to.

crossed it with my mango haze too so that should be very interesting. i have one pheno that wreeks like amazing sweetness and puts on nice chunky buds throughout the whole plant. no little shlarf buds at all. this strain is freekin awesome.

I'm growing out Delahaze - (Cali Lemon Skunk x Mango Haze.) The Mango Haze pheno smells soooooo great I cant even stand not buzzing around it like a humminbird poking my beek into her lushious buds. I had the CLS pheno get 1 ballsack and pollinate some of my SSSDH only abit. Mostly any pollin landed on my MH pheno of the Delahaze. Im very interested in the Mango Haze now that I smelled her in the Delahaze. So fruity and hazey.
I'll be looking for any seed I can find in my SSSDH that got pollinated by that Delahaze. YUMMY!

The SSSDH has big monster long buds on her in week 6 out of 12-14. (Pics 1-2)
The Mango Haze pheno of the Delahaze (pics 3-4) is one of the best smelling fruity strains Ive smelled since the Purps. Totally covered in extremely smelly crystals. I wonder if the Cali Lemon Skunk (CLS) pheno made the MH pheno smell even better than the original MH.

Either way....I think SSSDH ROCKS and if I get a few seeds from a SSSDH x Delahaze feminized then I wont be disappointed.... thats for sure.

I will toss up some pics of my 8 foot sssdh monster. All of them are big but one is VERY VERY hazy and seriously HUGE. Gonna be a long trip for sure. Stay tuned tomorrow folks!

I vegged the bitch 2 months. Once she hit the 5 gallon bucket she should have flowered right then or at least within the 1st 2 weeks. But I let all of them veg out for another month. I just figured out my camera and will take pics and upload tomorrow...seriously huge

Heres mine. Around 5' 7" tall. 2 phenos @ week 7 exactly, and 1 of 3 clones in veg topped 2x to make 6 tops.
The 1st pic is the SD dominant SSSDH which really smells strong of SD/Haze
The 2nd pic is the branchy/hazier pheno that smells fantastic as well.

Having 2 SSH's growing side by side with 2 SSSDH's - The SSSDH smells the best. THANX CGS.

ya all the plants look good.. but i stopped going by breeder flowering times awhile back.. delahaze .. mite have a pheno that finishes is 8 . or 9 .. but thats dialed in 100 percent... and proly using a product to make em finish earlier! like canna boost... im pretty sure it can make stuff finish a week earlier!

3 out of 3 females have ballsacks....

All 3 females have ballsacks where the preflowers are and once picked off the buds are perfect. Wish I didnt chop the 3rd one down.
But if I miss just 1 ballsack on a smaller lower/newer branch than it could be a disaster.
Pics 1,2 are of the lower budsites and pic 3 is the budsite near the top of the same plant. Does this happen with anyone elses SSSDH?

I want this strain as a mainstay.... but Ide like to get a fresh pack to get some phenos that dont have this issue.

Look at the size of these buds on this girl! The smell is of the dankest Sour Haze smell. I love this strain and havent even smoked it yet but I want one with no danger of ballsacks.
Yes...that is a thin spaghetti box to show length of the cola.

did you take clones? I bet the clones wont throw the balls. In my experience, the seed run is not enough to judge a plant. my sourD ibl keeper was disappointing in the seed run, but is amazing as a clone, and has been getting better and better with no sacks. I feel that the herm tendency of the sour genetics wreaks a little havoc the first time it is flowered, especially if you flower it with less than 45 days of veg.

if you didn't take a clone, re-veg them bitches. root prune and transplant, half strength veg nutes.

Those pictures are FROM THE CLONES! All 3 plants from seed did it and all clones do it. Im keeping the strain but Ill have to pick off everysingle preflower 2/3rds of the way down the plant because the tops have female preflowers like normal. The buds in the pics are from seed vegged for 70 days. The sack picks are from its clones.
