is it true that bloombastic isnt a good idea to be used with advanced nutrients 2 part because there ends up being a weird npk ratio? id like to try it but someone told me this a while ago so i said i wasnt gonna mess with it
Bloombastic is designed to be used with any base nutes.
I dont use AN though, so i couldn't say for sure.
I would think it would be fine. If your worried about it just use less of your base nutes.
Trust me, it's worth trying.
After doing some reading and checking ingredients, it looks like this product has the exact same ingredients and a pretty close analysis as both Fox Farm's Open Sesame and Cha Ching. I am going to give this shit a try, at 10 bucks for 1.5 pounds vs. 60 for 2 pounds I think it will be worth giving a shot. I have 2 autos at 1.5 weeks of flower, so I will start on the next feed, using 1/4 tsp per gallon.I saw something in my garden center and was wondering if it would be a suitable "bloom booster." It's called Garden Elements Bud and Bloom, it is a 10-52-8, and is made of Potassium and Ammonium Phosphate, with some other things. It recommends 1 tsp/gallon water. I put all this up there because I can't find any info on the internet about this product (there was a website on the can for a ingredient origin page, but I didn't buy it). So would this be a suitable booster? If so, when would be a good time to try using it if feeding to autos? I use a half strength fox farm schedule with molasses at different intervals.
Any help is appreciated.
FYI- Bloombastic has clay in it for a carrier which is not good for water culture type systems, drip systems, ect. Clay does not dissolve in water....if you take a clear container and mix it up and then wait for a few hours you will see the clay separate and laying at the bottom of the container. Not exactly the characteristics of a "top shelf" product by my standards anyhow.......I know Koolbloom liquid or powder does not do that and is completely soluble in water which is very important if your using deep water culture for example.
This product is better suited for soil and soiless growing methods IMO.
It does however work pretty well, but how well will depend on what type of system your using, and for the record, have gotten as good results using liquid and powder koolbloom combo from GH.....never really compared the pricing but I would assume the GH product is cheaper or comparable in price but I think it would be only fair to mention that Bloombastic is a very concentrated product which makes it a good value in my book, or at least a fair priced one......
Another good combo booster out there is Snow Storm Ultra and Gravity, used together will get you a very large increase in final yields.......hard to beat this combo for sure!
MOAB and just about any PK13/14 product together makes for a mean finish as well.
Bottom line is your environment and type of growing methods will always determine which products will give the most bang for your buck.......and be "the best".....
