Like the title says, my wife is turning 30. I need to get her something nice and just can't think of anything. She is a pot head just like the rest of us, but doesn't need anything pot related.

She has talked about taking a drive up the west coast from San Fran to Oregon maybe. Any body have any places along the way that they enjoy?

Thanks everybody.

the whole drive along the 101 is nice... I can recommend Bandon OR as a destination, while it is hot as hells balls everywhere else, in bandon it is nice an cool... it has the shore with soft sand beaches surrounded by cliffs and large rocks in the water... there is a marina with all kinds of fresh fish, places to eat, plus the Tillamook cheese factory is there. Its a great small town to visit and spend some slow quite time

One thing that will always be hit is a gift certificate to a spa day. Trust me on this, every lady enjoys being treated like one.

A nice trip up the coast sounds good, spending time together is the best gift.
Lots of cool spots to stop at along the way, maybe on the night you celebrate her birthday you can give her a nice massage and some TLC ;)

yes... a drive up the coast....to a BOUTIQUE Hotel.... that has special SPA offerings....
the wife and myself.... had a wonderful time in Astoria OR.... @ Hotel Elliot...couple years back...w/ a DAY _ LONG spa treatment..... organic MUD-Bath, followed BY Whale Blubber / SEA SALT..exfoliating rub, followed, by wicked 2hr hot-stone massage.....the BEST ever in my life...followed by a super juice re-hydration session....
ending in a MAD-b00ty session....
and blissful hours of sleep........

30?....a one-way ticket back to your mother in laws

Seriously, you know your wife best...is she a diamonds and fur kinda of gal,or would a homemade card and her favorite meal(prepared by you) by candlelight do the trick?

Be original

30 days hath September...April, June, and November...use the number 30 as a guide post.

Maybe do some research to find certain cool things that are associated with the above months and select one from each month to give her on your trip. Doesn't have to be expensive stuff, just interesting and cool. After you give her these things, see if she can figure out the common denominator, aka why you picked these things.
