Anyone else???

Anyone else???

Bumping this thread and hoping there is more feedback from other users regarding cannabis effects on sperm.

My wife and I have been trying to conceive for the past 6 months or so without any luck. I am a daily cannabis smoker (maybe 1-2g/day average) but my wife is not and hasn't smoked in almost a year. I have not gone out to get my spunk tested yet, but I recently started reading up on the subject and I'm worried I might be one of those "borderline infertile" subjects due to frequency and how long I've been smoking weed, despite there being a serious lack of research on this subject IMO. Other than this, I'm going to be turning 30 next month, I seem relatively healthy and don't do any drugs, don't smoke tobacco other than the occasional blunt, I don't drink very often maybe 2-3 beers a week average, I eat relatively healthy, but I don't exercise at all really.

I'm internally debating doing something I have only done ONCE in about 10+ years of daily use, and that's quitting smoking weed for a while. I did it last year, cold turkey, for a 3 week vacation when I chaperoned a HS trip to Europe (chaperones go free BTW) - I was fine, but I really don't want to do it if I have a choice....and lets just say that staying a couple days extra to go to Amsterdam was a WISE CHOICE! I'll do it for my wife if she asks me though, but so far she hasn't said anything. I'm also not the slimmest guy (5'10", 210lbs) so I'm also worried that quitting smoking won't help since I've also got all this THC stored up in my fat cells - so I REALLY don't want to have to start exercising on top of quitting smoking!

So just wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences with infertility and THC, or maybe that have gone and had their spunk tested like GET MO did?

what do you expect. You got a bunch of stoned sperm trying to get to the egg. If that was filmed you would probably see them all swimming in circles lol.

only 0.01% of your sperm can conceive, the rest are used in sperm competition which is why so many in the average male are "retarded" in a way,,

i would say that the main threat to stoners in terms of potency is that they often dont eat right..

I got to test this bunk spunk theory in anatomy/physiology lab. The ex hub had more than a decade of all day every day use of ganja, alcohol, & other alkaloids. Fingers were crossed for minimal count, motility and such since kids are not in my future. Results were the exact opposite as what I'd hoped. High count, good motility, very few non functional sperm. The sample was "healthier" than other classmates who had completely sober partners. So after my test of this theory I'd say there isn't enough evidence in my mind for those in the scientific community to claim that. Keep in mind these are the same people who often claim marijuana will also give you cancer. Consider how many cases of infertility occur in couples who don't use any marijuana. There are a lot of other factors that are at play in the matter of conception. Everybody is different so if you found something that works for you & in your mind it resonates then go with it. Not sure what other tests you've run or your & the misses health histories so don't want to make any suggestions but if you needed some more ideas about what kind of possible supplements may be out there to support conception feel free to PM me.
