In my opinion if it was cartels it would of been bigger, and inturn we all know that law enforcement works hand in hand with these cartels, this would of been busting their own crop, but its more like takin out the competition. There is lots of money out in SD the cartels spend lots of cash to dig tunnels to US, and have way more grows that make this a micro, and again they dont just put one guy with a gun either, remember they kill mass people in public dump bodies in the city streets, cartels are massively powerful, so much so they spit on US customs, and dont waste a day trying to bring mj over.
Plus cartels dont take chances on mj its too small of payday, they move tons of coca thats where the money is. M13s have neighborhoods that cops will not go in, and have ways to grow in there homes very machine like to makin money, and having major power.
but hey who knows, it a bust that made someone mad thats for sure.

Funny that both sides of the "Pot Issue" use the cartels as propaganda to support their causes. Everyone knee jerks cartel...anytime there is a large OD grow found. That shows the message has been passed. Indoctrination complete.
Forget the location....forget the localism of that particular area....forget that SD county is heavily patrolled by military, border patrol, and other various LEO agencies. Forget that water sources are not so many (or you have a hell of a well)...and pretty well known in the backcountry (there is almost always a trail or a 2 track leading to them).....why in the hell would a cartel grow in such a place...so close to home....home...where they can tunnel in the more profitable dope....and not stick out like a sore thumb? That's not good business.

LOL! Yeah the cartels run the show, as far as product goes coke goes for way more, and its demand is way more extream tham just the US, if you go to Canada the price triples or more. So many people have died over coke its insane, and it funds the mexican govt so much so look how long their drug war has gone on with no end in sight, proves our govt is involved in making large amounts off the books proven by a guy named Gary something reporter out of San jose Mercury news who was even killed for just saying so.
If I had one wish I would wish this world would wake up, and realize the very apparent lie, and propaganda of something GOD made we man call bad, how do we do this I have no clue, some supream being deemed to waste his time to create one of this planets most amazing life forms, even illegal it still is major to our lives, what more do ppl need?

actually, an acre is just over 43k square feet, so a lot closer to 40 sq ft/plant than 4sq ft / plant if we're looking at 41k plants on 40 acres
That's over 6x6 per plant, so still tight once plants are bushy, but probably not single cola baseball bat type sog either.

I've seen lots of migrants crossing through the hills....but yet to find a cartel grow. If you spent any time looking at maps.....you might have a better idea of what you are talking about. I spend a lot of time in the woods...and I can tell you...it is rare that you are truly alone down here.
