DAY 23.
I always grow a plant out naturally when running them for the first time to see the real growth structure and get a feel for the plant.

This plant is perfect for training. ScrOG - SOG(from rooted clone w/ no veg time) - SuperCropped - Mainlined - LST - Vert ScrOG.
My clones are getting topped twice and lst'ed a bit for the next run. I have 4 clones of the branchy pheno which, when topped twice, should give me 8 tops per plant. I topped them at the 4th node. That should leave me a bottom set of branches to take cuttings from and still leave room for 8 tops. These girls will go the full 12 weeks. 13 if needed.

PICS 4 -7:
The top cola dominant pheno. Very indica-ish. Pretty pistils. Looks like she is gonna yield big rock hard buds. No smells just yet on either of them.

A few pics of both phenos. Totally different. Not much stability in this strain for Pure Tahoe genetics.
Side by side pics and the one pheno I kept a clone of.
They look like two different strains all together. Leaves, growth structure, bud formation and all.
The one I kept in the pic is beautiful looking. Although the main cola dominant plant would be better for a SOG, I think the other is so pretty. The leaves are gorgeous! Such a pretty plant. No smell yet though going on week 5.

Great work on the ladies bro!! I'm glad to see you got a hazy looking pheno of the DelaHaze, mine were almost all lemon skunk leaning with almost no haze at all! Problem is Stagger Lee is that I got a clone of the Lemon Skunk leaning pheno and not the Mango Haze one. DOOOOOOOPE!!!! I use FFOF soil and the MH leaning phenos' leaves curled alot because of the soil being so strong so I took the more indica looking one that did great in this soil. I could have a friend put 1 flowering branch of the Mango Haze leaning pheno into his EZ-CLONER and try to root and re-veg it. But I think Ill just order seed for the first time in the history of my life and get a fresh pack so it doesnt get stressed out rooting it and re-vegging it. Then hope for a M-Haze pheno. What do you think STAGGER? To root or not to root....that is the question. LOL Its at day 35 today.
ON A SIDE NOTE:
This is the first grow ever that I havent used any nutrients yet and the BTOG's and SSH's are on day 35. The biggest pheno of SSH is just starting to tell me she needs abit of N.
Other than that its just been Cal-Mag+ and water ph'd to 6.0 from seed.

2nd release. King Louie Xlll x Tahoe OG Reversed. A friend gave me his pack of BTOG's he ordered online.
I would certainly like to know which cut I have. The one I kept is the beautiful one. Though the top cola dom pheno will yield much more. The buds go from the bottom of the plant along the main stalk right to the top. Big, round, hard nuggets. Grew just like the God Bud and the G-Force. For a SOG this pheno is perfect for big yields and use of space. I just liked the leaves on the pheno I kept.

Flowering day 28. Only showing budsites for 14 days. Look how big they are already. Big yielder coming up!
Heres my keeper pheno for these reasons:
1) The other pheno's leaves tended to twist here and there (not ph issue...just genetic) The leaves where darker green on the other pheno.

2) It is a much bigger yielder and the same hieght as the other.

3) It smells slightly better at day 28.

4) The clones did better and took faster than the other one.

Heres my keeper pheno of the SSSDH.
For these reasons:
1) It has nice vigorous branching which makes it easier for me to take cuttings from 8 inch tall clones.

2) The other pheno doesnt get any side branches at all... even from clone! Until its like a foot tall. Then they just start to grow. This is not good for me and my style of growing. (Plus it got 1 ball sack that I picked off of it and havent seen another yet.
So this one was not the keeper.

3) This pheno has not had 1 ball sack at all and with its vigorous side branching...topping and training this girl will be a breeze and give me multiple tops with big Sour Hazey Colas, and plenty of vigorous cuttings for the next run. Very Happy with this 1 pheno so far. Cant wait to see her bud structure in the next 4 weeks.

Mango Haze x California Lemon Skunk
Had 2 feminized seeds.
I didnt get a clone of the Mango Haze pheno.
I did get a nice clone of the California Lemon Skunk pheno.
The Mango Haze pheno smells really strong. Almost magical.
The Cali Lemon Skunk pheno smells good but not as strong.

The Mango Haze pheno is behind the CLSkunk pheno.
The fan is in front of the CLS pheno.

I started seeing red hairs on the MH pheno and started checking all 8 plants in the flower room. No sacks or nanners. 2 days went by and I just knew I had to keep looking for a male sack. Most of these seeds are feminized except the SSSDH which is from reg seed, so I knew there is a high chance of a sack somewhere on the feminized plants.

Since the fan blew over my CLS pheno onto my MH pheno I knew it had to be coming from the CLS pheno. I found it!
Luckily the MH pheno caught most of the pollin that puffed out of the open sack. I pulled it... though it was brown and empty at this point.

Didnt destroy the crop. Just slightly pollinated the same strain plant.
Pretty lucky there. I did pull the clone though. I just want the SSH and SSSDH next run anyways.

IF A FEMINIZED PLANT GETS A BALL SACK AND POLLINATES ANOTHER PLANT THATS FEMINIZED WILL I GET MOSTLY HERMI SEED OR WILL THERE BE A GOOD CHANCE THAT THEY WILL BE MOSTLY FEMALES THAT WONT HERMI TOO MUCH. Meaning that Ill get a good percentage of females that wont hermi. Or will most of the female seed I get have a very high percentage of hermi female seeds that arent worth a pot to piss in?

Im hoping that the feminized Delahaze that got just 1 male ballsack that pollinated alittle of my other feminized Delahaze will be a blessing rather than an "oops that sucks" I have no clones of the Delahaze, and the MangoHaze leaning pheno smells really really good at such a young age and its super resinous. Would love to have a bunch of feminized seed from that plant. It wasnt stress. Thats a promise. It was genetics. Its a HAZE man....It happens. Lemon Skunk Pheno pollinates Mango Haze pheno. I should get about 60 seeds.

The Buddha Tahoe OG's and the SSH's are growing perfect with no sacks or nanners and these are feminized too so I will still keep an eye out. Not 1 seeded calyx in either SSH's, SSSDH's or both BTOG's Just the Mango Haze leaning pheno.

i always thought if it was from stress it would be feminized if it was genetics.. ull get more hermi? iuno but i trid some seeds that hit a couple of mine and so far.. solid females.. but will see during flower!

Mango Haze pheno that was hit by a ballsack from the feminized Lemon Skunk pheno of Delahaze. I expect some nice feminized seed.
This Mango Haze pheno smells so friggin' good. The fruitiest Haze smell in my garden. Im like a sticky nosed hummin'bird poking my beek into her all day long. Thats why Im not to upset about one feminized ballsack from the Lemon Skunk pheno dusting my Mango Haze pheno.
I want much more Mango Haze phenos. The Lemon Skunk pheno is a big yielder and hasnt had any more sacks come out but the Mango Haze pheno is starting to get a nanner here and there.

I dont like the risk of feminized seeds with nanners and ballsacks. I would prefer a nice batch of reg seed anyday. Although I read that even with reg seed that was stressed out to force them to herm, only 1 in 100 will not herm no matter what stress its under. Thats the breeder plant. But most breeders dont do all that for obvious reasons.
Grow out 100 females. Stress them all out through a sketchy light regimine. Find that 1 that wont hermi. Throw out all the 99 useless plants that hermi'd. Use that 1 female to breed with or produce feminized seed with from that silver stuff. This is the only way to ensure no hermi's in feminized seed or reg seed. Other than that....its all a big risk when growing ganja.

Heres a top from the SD leaning pheno.

The SSH leaning pheno is perfect for the first stages of cloning and topping for 6 tops. Its abit smaller yielding and smells more Hazey. I can get clones from clones rather quickly... which I need to do. Both phenos are the same hieght.

I want the SD leaning pheno but I need it to grow branches like the Haze Leaning Pheno so I can clone from clones and get 6 top colas per plant. The SD dom pheno wont grow side branches even from clone until 4 weeks veg time.
Guess I need more seeds of SSSDH to pheno hunt for my branchy SD leaning pheno.
I just love how these plants smell. Even at day 37! YUMM!

i hear ya alone.. im sick of this seed bullshit.. people making seed to sell that are garbage .. or they got a 10 pack of seeds.. found a keeper and made a batch of seeds with a random male and sell em as a strain.. iuno breeders in this day in age are very sketchy.. im going to stick to seeds i make and only a couple new strains wen i need em ill go to MR NICE to get REAL Genetics.

I hear ya. Its mostly the plant IMHO and not the breeders fault. I also should have used DM Reverse and Saturator knowing they where fem seeds. The Delahaze only got 1 ballsack...Which luckily landed on the other Delahaze so now I got fem seeds of Delahaze here and there. So its not to bad.
Feminized seeds will hermi on ya alot more than reg seeds will.
Ive gotten nanners on my own crosses that had Sour D in them.
Its the genetics. It just happens. Sour Diesel wouldnt of even been made if the Chem D didnt get nanners or a ballsack and pollinate a Diesel plant next to it. So from now on Chem or SD genetics just carry that hermi line with them wherever they go.

I guess feminized seeds have there place. Just like Autos. But Ide take a reg seed anyday over a fem seed.
