Disciple......Get rid of them heatgain counter productive gull wing reflectors and adjust sq ftg to 50 watts per sq ft , drop the celings down to 8' , and cover everything in reflectix including the ceilings....
Put small muffin fans underneath each bare bulb on low speed to assist in natural heat convection and suck excess heatgain and stank out the room through exhaust scrubber combo`s exchanging room air twice per minute......and yes....
D9`s new thread shows promise although I`m not sure about recirculation of environment at this point , but I`m waiting in anticipation........
If there`s a way ta pump perfect environment in and out of the rooms through a lung room that`ll insure perfect ambient temps , RH , and airflow throughout the grow ftw then why not.......
Just tryin ta help and get folks ta think outside the boundaries of Hydro Whore Manufacturers suggested schematics on how a grow op with sealed environment and CO2 supplements are the way , the truth , and the light toward max yields from max investments when nothin could be further from the truth IME cuz they`re tryin ta sell yas ALL they can sell yas regardless.....bet on it.......anyways.........my dos centavo`s.....

nice lookin room...RAs are a bitch. i know you are anti imid but that shit really works....i root drench when my plants are in beer cups....and the transplanted material when they go into 2-3 gal pots is mixed with met52.....bayer tree and shrub (imid) is pretty good stuff, it has nutrients in it as well, when i dose the plants they seem to like it. i had a pretty bad infestation of RAs last year....after using Imid i never ever see them again..no difference in bud quality at all.

Whoa....well alreighty then ..as far as hydro stores I just meant those reflectors Bro.......but....DHF, not sure if you know this (because the photo I posted doesn't do a very good job of showing it) but.... there's actually another whole row of bulbs underneath the row you see in the photo!! Yikes!!
each of those bulbs is actually a double stack (!!!) so it's not (7) but (14) lights hanging vertically PLUS the adjust-a-wings (which just got lit)......
it's probably worse than you thought..... a lot worse
I can pretty much guarantee NO hydro shop would recommend doing what I'm showing in the pic. (I doubt they could even explain WTF is going on in terms of the theory/physics etc).
Please don't worry. This is only a test involving (16) plants vegged and shaped for this experiment. It's a one time deal because I'll never have plants like this again. I'm posting here because HL 45 also has adjust-a-wings and mixes horizontal-ish lighting with his bare vertical bulbs and we've been discussing different combinations.
Know that there are no 1Ks in that photo... total wattage is 6250W on (16) plants. My cheapo light meter shows north of 10,000 f/c on almost all areas of the plants exposed to bulbs. That is really, really high. Most gardens have that in spots... and also do it with 1Ks.
I was down around 5,000 - 6,000 f/c and made some changes with plant positions and spacing. Many gardens have that as the norm with areas lower. back in my cabinet days I was seeing nice bud off of anything higher than 3,400 f/c.
High Life, I've just finished reconfiguring that test setup and will post pics and the "why" here if you want. I've gone down to (8) plants per (12) hours and cut the total wattage back to 6,000W (but now it's 6,000W for (8) plants vs. (16) plants before). I'm using the wings to light the dark side of each row and have them almost vertical. Let me know.

If yas had lowered ceilings with everything covered in reflectix or that new orca film , the reflectors wouldn`t be needed was all I was ralkin bout...especially since all they do is store heatgain and fuck with environment...
Megawattage only works if the plants can absorb and metabolize it D , and anything over 5K kinda gets redundant and unecessary....kinda like .....
Folks wastin CO2 supplements in the 1500 ppm range when it`s been proven anything over 900 ppm`s just gets wasted , cuz what they don`t convert during lights on , they shit out during lights off inckuded with excess RH.....
Love your style though my buddy , and it shows you`re willin to go the extra mile for yields and if dialed environments included , the sky`s the limit.....

Bro...I`ve got many many growbro`s that run flat grows with reflectors , but point being with big plants is they`re just not needed....and....
Those coco hydroton beds produce well.......but....they`ll never bust the gpw`s cuz of all the environment needed to nullify all the heatgain with all that sq ftg.....I mean......
Look at all the shadows and dark spots where lumens go to never get back to the plants.....just a waste in my book , but folks gotta run setups they`re comfortable with and can make prosperous enoughta pay the bills , profit accordingly and move on to the next project.....
Never let it be said that I`m against horizontal grows , I just think the sq ftg and cash it takes for the turnaround is extremely wasteful....period....
Smaller flip rooms run perpetually that`re babyshit to control environment in with max watts per sq ft will ALWAYS break the bank for your retirement fund if folks can just get rid of the mindset that "bigger`s better" and more`s gotta make more......anyways....
