Guerilla Gold 3 x Danish Gold and Jamil Sayeeda x Danish Gold

This year I have seeds that I kept from last year's somewhat poorly grown, late planted outdoor crop. Two of them were flowering quite early alongside a Danish Gold male who was particularly copious in his pollen and very stinky. The Guerilla Gold 3 had a nice skunky scent, and was very glittery. The Jamil Sayeeda had pink and purple hairs and purple shading on the leaves. She smelled a little of sweet inscence and seemed to be very bug and mold resistant.

The plot I have returned to for stealth reasons is made up of a loamy hardwood forest floor raspberry filled patch of sunshine. It is rich soil and moistened as it lies on the edge of a swamp. I read that rasberries and blackberries need ample calcium to grow so I ripped them out and placed my seedlings in the soil. you can literally dig a hole with your hand. My plants last year had a rough start to life and were small and deficient already as I put them out. They rebounded well considering but there is room to improve. This years Seedlings were much better when they were put out, vegged 4 weeks under 250 w plantmax mh conversion instead of t5s in different mix. The summer has come strangely early this year so I was able to put them out about 2 weeks before we normally would in this area. They were planted outdoors on May 26th at 44N.

A second plot is in full sun, in the swamp in 3 gallon pots filled with miracle grow organic potting mix. This plot was also planted May 26. There are now four females at this plot.

I have a total of 24 started and yanked one today from the bush plot, a male gg3xdg. I have one female gg3x dg as well confirmed. Yet to visit the others to see if any have shown yet.
Hope to see what these crosses do this year with a bit better treatment and some nutes to get them going. So far so good, todays check showed them about 2' tall and in good robust condition.

Lets see what happens in this wanna be viking gardener's hands. :plant grow:

The little bit of guerilla gold that we got that wasn't seeded was excellent smoke, was uplifting and didn't burn me out. Wasn't too stealth when smoking it but twas worth the minimal effort I put into getting it. These are half decent genetics if they can put up with my abuse and still produce quality smoke. This year will be way better, they got their first shot of nutes today and the area has been visited by the machete to make more light.

the plants this weekend on June 10th.

Plot A:

Plot B:

they seem content thus far ) gave both plots a feeding this weekend. Two casualties at plot B, one male and one taken out by an animal of some kind.

the plants at plot A are the weakest of the seedlings we had, though you can see what full sun versus partial sun will do for these guys. Think I should move some from plot A to plot B...

Very nice. Im very familiar with GG, and Danish Gold. Very nice varieties. Im growing a few also at 40 N Lat. Hoping this grow goes well. I plan to fully seed the plants for full production. These are very nice plants and need to be spread around. I wish you good luck in your gardens. Thanks for sharing, I look forward to seeing the progress

thanks Rev, I am really looking forward to seeing what these ladies do, they got an awesome start this year with all the hot weather promises to go well. Visit to plot B was positive today, will post pics. One of the girls in the swamp pots, I think a Jamil cross is quite large, she's almost 5 feet tall now. Will visit plot A later this week to see whats happening in there. Yanked a male last time but haven't visited in a couple weeks now.

Its been a great season. I had an issue with critters early on, and they got the few Danish gold seeds I just sprouted. At 42N, autumn is drawing near, so im afraid these will have to wait for another time. I look forward to seeing yours finish tho. What latitude are you at

Rev, at 42 as well. Sorry been a long time since update- summer has been keeping me busy this year. It was an EXCELLENT growing season for some crops - not most conventional farming but definately for guerilla grows ) I am very happy with the results I have gotten from these genetics, they were planted and then visted 2-3 times- none got any bug repellants and only minimal feeding. They are all quite rank and skunky, one has a lemon scent, especially the GG3xDG which are short- 4-5 feet tall, single cola pants with fat fat dense buds. The Jamil crosses were must larger in size, the one is probably close to 9 ft tall and its in a 3 gallon pot, multi branching with heavy side colas. they were not topped. The jamil crosses have a distinctly more musky, sweet oriental spice scent and the largest of them the buds are turning purple which looks beautiful with its white hairs and almost could pass as a unique garden plant were it not the size and shape of a good christmas tree. These girls could go another couple weeks, some later flowering ones may take into october to finish if they do finish properly.

Never grow Danish Gold but those first two pics have GG written all over them. Just keep a close eye on them the last week before harvest. Huge main cola and near the ground make them a little (not a lot) susceptible to mold.
Good luck make sure to give us the harvest pics and smoke report.

thanks! definately was wondering about the density with those GG type plants and into late flower- the mom was gg3 and father a Danish gold (which is danish passion X gg (3?)) I have two growth types flowering from those seeds- one that is a single cola with no side branching, and another that is a large main cola with some smaller branches like the danish gold. both are huge heavy yeilders considering how little trimming there will be to do! they are also very resinous and smell very skunky also flowered readily very early- the one with side branching was flowering under 18/6 in veg when we put her out.

the jamil cross is very much leaning to the jamil side- a tall classic christmas tree shape with long slender side branches full of buds that are turning purple now as they mature, with white hairs that turn pink and prolific. the plant is in a 3 gallon pot and is so heavily laden we had to put cow fencing up around her to hold up the branches I don't think there will be a problem with mold with her but have had to keep close eye on her due to her size- she is not a stealthy plant. she stinks, shes huge and she is gorgeous to look at. I'll try to find a link for some pictures of karma's Jamil Sayyida

September 3 Update

September 3 Update

the Jamil Sayeeda x Danish Gold has gone a beautiful shade of purple! what a gorgeous plant, she stands close to 10 feet tall with long heavy side branches laden with long slender purple buds with white hairs. Very stinky with a sweet aroma.

:woohoo:

The Guerilla Gold 3 x Danish Gold continues to fill out, she has a couple of ambers to her but still a while to go.

thanks guys )

one of the branches snapped almost off on the jamil so took her home... been smoking a bit of it, sweet taste and pleasant mild high- she's definately not done with potency but its really nice looking bud with a gorgeous lavender colour. when I checked the trics on the plant she was 25% clear, 75% cloudy. she's going to be a BIG yeilder for sure thankfully not too bad to trim either. really really happy some of those plants from last year got seeded ! haven't seen any seeds on this years plants but will most definately be returning to esbe, brad and karma's work for more of these fine genetics!

the bush lot GG3xDG was snapped off by an animal a day or two before I went to check on them this weekend- we took her how and dried her out to use to make black oil, which we haven't done yet but am smoking the dried herb. OMG this stuff is potent!! I cant wait til the other one is done-weather is getting cold at night time these days so will probably be soon. This weekend likely. We took several of the branches from the monster Jamilxdg and are now drying it. That plant is going to be a HUGE yeilder, and the buds are drying purple with white hairs just gorgeous bag appeal for outdoor. Surely she must have busted out of her 3 gallon pot into the swamp how on earth did she grow into a tree!! Have had some mold growing on the lower branches. The buds are very dense, to be expected. Hopefully the other GG3xDG we have doesn't get any mold- shes's the size of a 2 L pop bottle around almost and very very dense.
