Thanks guys Im just a personal grower nothing over 10-12plants at time . ME and wife smoke and have jobs . Its my medication to trigger appetite and my insomnia meds . Without mj I would never be a productive member of the public the 10/22 was gave to my son as a gift before my grandfather died so ill just remove it from the house
I got 3 pitbulls over 100lbs each protect me and give their lives for me . Really wouldn't need a gun unless someone breaking in has one. Also have plenty of martial arts weapons im schooled in since I was 7. Good ol kitana ,sais ,kamas ,butterfly knife bo staff work just fine for me against anything but a gun . Not counting BJJ and Shotokan backgrounds since 95 .Hence the screen name. They see 24in round pitbull heads coming at them .im sure they ar egonna wish they never came in anyway.

Better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6. I used to be very adamant about no guns and growing. Then my house got robbed which my girl was home and I said fuck it. No ones gonna come to my house and strong arm me or take my shit.
I keep a kimber .45 right on my nightstand with 2 loaded mags. I also have 3 dogs, If the Doberman doesn't get them I will. I keep my SCAR 16 and 17 somewhere else as Those are pointless for HD. Theyre Mainly used for range shooting and hunting.
To each their own but I'm ready to defend myself if they come back. Stay safe

i only keep a small, legally registered pistol around for last resort self defense...all my range toys i keep at a seperate location in a different city and a different county, in a clean house with clean law abiding people...others i keep hidden in various places away from the grow...
although in california if you are busted by state police its usually not a problem AS LONG AS THE GUN IS LEGALLY REGISTERED...i have seen and heard of multiple instances where small scale grows and legally owned guns were not prosecuted..also the legal language in california law says that in order for "firearm in a commision of a felony" to stick, the gun has to be withing a obtainable distance. this law applies more to when someone uses a gun during a robbery, or if during a raid the dude is hiding out with a gun....if the gun is locked away and in a seperate area your lawyer has a better chance of fighting the charge if you are 1) allowed to own guns 2) obtained your guns legally passing the doj background check....but there is still much debate about this in the gun community and it certainly relies on factors like what is the prosecuting county/agency..
ever see that show Wild Justice, follows the department of fish and game cops in norcal running around the place busting poachers etc.....they have had a few episodes where growers had guns and nothing happened..and nother where they stopped a guy with a pipe of weed and a .22 pistol and nothing happened except he got a ticket..

Another true story. A friend of mine was raided up in Arcata. Was about 200 plants over his limit. He was convicted and did a few months in jail. He is now a fellon and cannot own a firearm anymore. He lives in the middle of know where. His lawyer is fighting for him to get his 2nd amen. rights back. His lawyer seems to think it will be easy? His Lawyer says since you live in the middle of no man lands and that it would take any cop about 2 hrs to get to you, You need a firearm. It's way to dangerous for you not to be out here alone with out protection. Even his Probation officers feels the same way. So we will see if the judge feels the same way???? lol
won't be easy but he's probably looking for a 'certificate of relief from civil liabilities'. it wasn't a crime of violence and so his case perhaps has some merit.
