NYCD origin other than Soma?

Lol this is funny though, if ChemD made its way to NY from CO, got renamed NYCD, and then got delivered back to CO w/ a new name but same genetics...

Its possible and probable, but I'm still wondering if my NYCD is possibly a cross.. I just dont understand y this guy would have traveled out to NY to bring this clone BACK to CO, but its possible..

My best guess is that your buddy used ECSD, especially since you say it came from Albany...

NYCD is just chemdawg renamed. ....Rez also uses Chemdawg and Sour Diesel in his shit I am pretty sure. Not Soma's

From what I gather NYCD is from soma seeds.. Daywrecker, or Original diesel are the ones related to the chems... Also FWIW Rez did use soma's NYCD as a male pollen donor in his SD IBL projects.. He started off by crossing the ECSD x Soma's NYCD, and then I believe he started to inbreed after V3 ( correct me if I'm wrong)

I am convinced my NYCD is : Original Diesel/Diesel #1/ Daywrecker Diesel - Chem91 x (Mass Super Skunk x Sensi NL).

I persona lly do not have the original "Diesel" but one of my fellow grower buddys does, and he bread the "Diesel Wreck" that i have been growing for a few years now, and she is epic! It's Diesel x E ugene Trainwreck. This stuff wreaks from blocks away and tastes like mentholated diesel fuel. Very intense end your day stone that lasts hours. Medium to large yields on this lady, with gre at bud density and growth stature. Thanks all, this is a great thread by the way! Well, I was growing all through the seventies in NYC, back when there was only a handful of us. Of course I was breeding like mad, and I isolated a few different sources of the newer 'indica' genes. One was a strain I named 'GAS' because it had a very strong petroleum smell, even above the fresh flowers. It was an immediate hit with studio musicians. I've always had a theory that maybe Soma or someone else got a bag.....

So am i right in thinking dna genetics have the originak diesel cutting, and that is different to the ecsd cutting? If so,what is the difference in genetics between the two?

silverhazefiend, I was growing in a loft in an area of Brooklyn now called 'dumbo' (down under the manhatten bridge overpass). In the later seventies, there was someone else also growing in my area. I would often smell their growroom walking from the F train.

I'VE been in the NYC scene since too young to fuck- I first came across sd in the year 2000,that i believe was the clone,it was very powerful dence trippy. Then out of brooklyn was a different type of d that was very cerebral heady but also very strong- that I SWORE HAD SUPER SKUNK IN IT. So the quote holds merit in my book.

ecsd/ sd is just so stretchy compared to this one.. and taste wise there is not much of a sour taste to my plant.. anyone else care to share what they think?

well i run a nycd mom that is pure sour ripe red grapefruit...but she is much less stretchy than your plant...your plants structur reminds me of my sour cream(sourD x g13/haze), so thats why i assumed it would be a sour d or an ecsd...
