What's new

9 out of 10 died?

Ok this is weird to me but I planted 10 sour 60 seeds and 9 died not saying it was the sour 60 because I planted a couple bag seeds and freebies that died as well and the last sour 60 isn't looking too good, I germinated them in burpee peat pellets they popped about 2 weeks ago and I had half out side half under a 250 mh and they all kind of shriveled up/got really skinny dry stem with leafs half green half yellow but definantly dead and ive completed many outdoors, first indoor and I just dunno what I did wrong... By the way the last sour 60 might be dead standing I dunno :/

any and all help is appreciated

250 watt MH is too much for them. How close was the light?

About a foot and half

And you think it was that dampening off thing for the ones outside as well? They all died the same way lol :/

Nope the leafs were barely yellow the stems just dried up shriveled and they fell over dead, the last sour 60 looks about 2-3 days old but I dunno I probably did something wrong

Take a picture of the plant if you can.... But from what it sounds like is a nute lockup or it could be nute burn...

Whats the details on your soil, what are you using, how often are you watering, are u using a fert?! <--- very important

OR you could have little white bugs running around on your stems... check it out... You might need some Mychorrizal fungal for your roots

Are you using TAP water?! thats a huge nono if thats whats causing problems... if your using filtered water then its your soil/surrounding area (bugs or mold or something)

But from the description it looks like a Nute lockup, using hard or soft water? if your in the socal area or cali area check out some new soil or check out my signature and see what these plants look like...

Im using organic soil, with organic fert (only during flower) and using tap water to water them.... so far i have had only 1 problem with N+ burn but i flushed the soil till it drained a decent amount and vwala!!

But yea, if you have a cam take a picture.. im more of a visual person

They shriveled up already so I just tossed them, they only had 2 weeks of life but didn't grow much at all, and sometimes I used tap water but no nutes cuz they still had green round leafs. And I used some kind of soil or another, bag said organic and perlite mixed in, I put some superthrive in the water... I don't know

whats wrong with tap water?

just fed my beautiful seedlings 300ppm tap water.

(are we talking organic only? if so, i do agree tap water does not work well with organics)

Exactly what i was talking about :D seedlings are fine, its when you use organics and tap water when there vegging you have a chance to get a nute lock up witch inturn will inhibit the plant from obtaining any nutrients. this has happened to me 2 times and it was because of the soil i was using.

But at the same time i can only speculate without photos

My guess is the pellets, I started some more sour 60s and its already caught up with the one sour 60 I had had left, ill take a pic of the sour 60 I got left tomorrow thats the only one I got left outta last ones I planted... And I had a freebie outside survive but I don't think I used that in the pellets so that's my guess

Ok, so I started some new plants outside for like a week or 2 then I just moved them inside, outside they were doing wonderful now they've been inside for 2 or 3 days and they stopped growing, and are turning yellow... I'm on my phone so I can't upload pics until later idk what I'm doing wrong inside lol this is killing me :/ help greatly appreciated

and yeah thats two in one pot i plan on transplanting them into bigger pots, and it has them little grass looking things i keep plucking out but keep growing i think thats from when i had them outside

Also do you think that they are hungry and how much should i feed them at that stage of growth? i have fox farm nutes dunno how much to use on them at that level again help appreciated

[Edit] Picture doesnt really show how yellow it is, and they kind have some spots on them as well, any help?

don't give them any nutes at that st/age.

are you keeping them damp but not soaked? Your soil looks a little dry???
try it without the superthrive--I have no experience with that though.

only other thing is maybe the light is too close--start with it further away
