got a dozen 5 foot tall SFV OG plants in 10 gallons as well lookin super healthy and fat. got around a half dozen of the f13xSd (dieselberry) cross from ganjarebelseeds..everything else is gonna be LA con and LVPK which are so damn similar, gonna be double potting alot of them since they are only 1-2 feet tall and kind of lagging. also got a bunch of GSC...

got a random True Blueberry 4 footer thats looking real healthy. and got a few 5 foot moms that are around 4 months old...Pitbull kush and the rest are animal cookie and GSC...kind of interested how the old mamas will do compared to the youngsters..all will get planted around june 7-10th..

got another 12 sexed sour bubbles from seed going in july in 100 gal pots....and got 18 feminized cali connection seeds that im gonna grow in a guerilla spot in 30 gals...

Fail miserably? Why would you exaggerate in such a discouraging fashion?

I've grown several older mothers outside, keeping them healthy was certainly key. The end product was always far from failing miserably.

I prefer young ripping starts as well, but claiming such foolish things makes you seem........

EDIT:

Lots of compost tea and several hundred gallons of root space will help these older moms have an upper-hand and I think both are key.

Because I've been there and done that and one time a year at growing spending as much as we do on this makes wasting a SECOND on some old ladies a waste of everything and I'd hate to see some one learn that for themselves when they could take from my experience and the experience of many others doing large plant ....You want spring chickens ready to go to the party , Not a old lady rode hard and put away wet...I've put a large plant in a half pallet breathing container and thrown the kitchen sink at it , and young healthy plants put in earlier yielded more higher quality nug..Just is what it is..

i had bad experiance last year with an old mom...but these ones arent that old, they were cloned in january or so as backups to the old moms i ended up tossing. if i can find some more spring chickens i would put them out...but i got so much space kinda gotta fill a gap or two...theres only 4 of them, 1 pitbull, 1 purple pheno of dieselberry, 1 GSC, and 1 animal...ive pruned them up real nice and they are pretty tall so i figure il put them in the corner and see what happens...

like nomad says "you want to eat young children, not the grandparents"....but if i recall he still put some grandparents in a blackbox since it pains the soul to murder them without a proper flowering..

I told that to my wife, her being the old lady, and she did not appreciate it, lol.

I agree, moms have a hard time keeping up outdoors. No more than clones compared to seeds though, and people still grow clones. Problem with seeds is you don't know what your going to get.

Seeds = fastest growth but not sure of genetics
Clones = good growth and selected genetics
Mothers = Slowest growth but biggest plant to start with, and known selected genetics.

I think it might be C99 x romulon or something like that. I could be wrong.

Taken from another website:
Blue Queen (also known as Dream Queen) is a sativa dominant strain that is a genetic cross of Blue Dream and Space Queen. The light green buds are covered with an abundance of crystals that provide a slight contrast to the creamy light orange pistils. The aroma and flavor is all blueberry with mellow notes of musk, hash and what can best be described as breadfruit. It ranks highly amongst the very best of cannabis with concerns to the aforementioned aroma and flavor profiles. The genetics provide a clue to the effects that can be expected: spacey with a dreamlike floatiness, mental and physical relaxation, and creative stimulation. Blue Queen is superb medical marijuana especially for those who enjoy dreamy cerebral effects and either performing or observing various artistic endeavors. Excellent in all respects.

IF only gross physical size at planting dictated yields............

It doesn't, that is why I mentioned growth rates after being planted. Slow growth will also effect flowers.

Has anybody planted their clones outdoors yet? Who is waiting until the 7th-10th?
