Blumats? Lets Do This.....

Ok, first of all THANKS to DHF, RIVES and BOBBLEHEAD for all there time and help.....

Took out 5 Hydrofarm hoods and replaced them with 3 Magnum XXXL 6's and A Luxor hood. Also replaced the inline fan I had going through the Hydrofarm hoods with a Cann 10" Fan....

Took out all the flood and drain trays and Res's and replaced them all with 2 4X8 trays on the ground and a single 27 Gallon Tough Tote For MPB's....

Used the regular Blumats, Flexzilla air hose for the main line, Kent fittings and 1/2 flood and drain fittings for the Res bulkhead fittings....

The system is in a loop with a single outlet at the end of the line with a shutoff valve, for system purging.....

Oh Ya! She is hot up till 12" from the glass. So, more open grows would be more suited for the hood, like this one...

Right now, I just have around 25 plants in coco. Some seed strains including REZ's PITBULL KUSH! Cannacopia's Chunky Cheese and some Leia OG..

Also, finishing off some Alien Dog, XMas Special, Purple Erkle and OGChem in Blumats, they are all close to harvest.....

Why the flexzilla AND the kent tees? I thought bobble used the flexzilla tubing to avoid having to buy the tees.. as it fits the stock 8mm blumat fittings. If you are using 1/2" bulkheads and kent tees where does the flexzilla come in? Why not just use regular tubing?

That light is a beast! Good luck with the blumats also. I got a box of them to try myself, but they're going to stay in the box until this Fall/Winter when I get my indoor going again.

for what its worth.

When I 1st started using blumats I was using those lowes strong boxes as my res placed on top of some plastic sawhorses. Now this was before I was using anything other then the stock 8mm line but I'd run into pressure issues as that yellow top box got low.

Might not be an issue as your running some larger line, but keep an eye on em as that res depletes. I can easily see some plants drinking on that heavily leading to the blumats needing re-dialed/soaked. You might want to go higher up or go 2 res route..the larger res on the floor pumped to small res on a high shelf.
