agreed. a dog my be a deterrent when it comes to some people but it does not guarantee anything.
hempkat- more than likely , i will be sending an email to my landlord (actually property manager) and explain to her we will be vacating the place early and would prefer if she could possibly start showing the house sooner than later.
either way shes gonna have to put this house back on the market and july 2012 was our last month here which was a no grow month anyways as they would be bringing thru potential renters.
hopefully she can get this place filled before the end of june and save us a month on the rent. shes a pretty cool lady but very busy so i dont know how possible this will end up being.
luckily, the house is actually in a very popular area that has easy access to most places in the city and all major highways leading out.

a dog might deter some, others will just rob the dog as well
i dare anyone mess with my dog. she dont play. but i train her for guard duty and invaders. she is guard dog first ,pet second

Well good luck, I figure it's worth a shot, I mean the worse she can say is no. Be careful on when you say to start showing early, she could turn up with someone the next day. Make sure all your grow related stuff is taken care of first before you tell her that.

yeah im sure she will be willing to work with us. just might take a week or two before she actually gets around to showing this house to anyone.
i know when we tell her we were robbed, shes gonna bug out. she told us when we first moved in this was about as ghetto as she was willing to go.
i have a few holes to fix and a little bit of painting to do before we can bring in the landlord so i will be working on these things over the next 9 days or so as the last remaining 7plants finish up.
no clues as of yet. just the kicked in the gut feeling as you put it. it really fucks with my head at night. i havent been able to sleep very well at all. only left the house once since this happened on monday
I think the human kind needs more than 100 years, to understand that there are no races only genes. In my case (or any case) a german can be closer by the genes to an indian or inuit than to my neighbor next door. Black, white, yellow came from evolution. More sun, darker skin, more cold, longer nose etc..

after reading this heart breaking thread about the second worst thing to a bust (a robbery) and there has been some unsympathetic responses to say the least, to those numptys, shame on you

I find it highly encouraging that the american people are starting to discuss those matters more honestly and frankly instead of letting themselves be victimized again and again and then apologize afterwards for some imagined wrongdoing.
Someone at Harvard just did a study about "instutional(eg invisible, ingrained) racism" and his findings can be summed up in one sentence: Complete and utter bullshit.
If you want a measurement of how fed up alot americans are with the behavior of black americans google "John derbyshire the talk" or "Stuff black people dont like".
