Delicious, that's a nice bunch too! I found a group of them by fall creek that was on a downed log 7 feet long!! Epic fungus score. And the Painted Hills, that place is so ancient, I would love to have a heavy TRIP there someday, sabertooth cats, and fossilised seqouias....sick

awesome pics DIDM. I moved here in 97-98 from florida. I was in 6th grade. I was so mad at my parents for making me move to some random state that had nothing for me. 15 years later you couldn't pay me to leave oregon. It will be my home for life. Keep the pics coming! I am going camping next weekend in the Dallas area I will snap some shots.

Crater Lake is unbelievable! Been there 4 times now, and never has gotten old. My girl found a fossilised clam shell up there a few years back... pretty interesting!!

The thing about Oregon is you can live anyplace up and down the I-5 and never be far from waterfalls, mountains, ocean or desert. Many natural attractions within those places. There are 11 big big waterfalls at Silver Falls park. Driving along I-84 (along the mighty Colombia River) you see many giant water falls. It is absolutely beautiful, inexpensive to live, diverse and there is no sales tax. And Marijuana is decriminalized here to add further.
