Today marks 44 years of smoking cannabis for me. Are there any other 40+ year veteran tokers out there? I'm sure there are. Pot Peace.

Geez Im right close to 44-45th year. To top it off, I smoked for my first time with a friend and his 67 yr old Grandpa!

That memory always reminds me of Dr Hook, lol.

I can tell you I started smoking in 1966, took a twenty-five year break to deal with alcoholism & returned a couple of years ago. Now I grow for pain & to help me sleep.

Thanks for chiming in everybody. I agree with you all when you say your not gonna stop. I feel the same way. Why stop? Mary Jane has been a life long companion of mine. She has been with me longer than any of the marriages or human relationships I've been in. I'm in the same boat as Snook...no breaks. Keep on tokin'.

So i assume no one in here has gotten "high" for a long time now? im only 19 years old thinking about smoking for that long non stop is hard to conceive, even though i will be smoking forever anyways.

I've only been high off a edible 1 time, ate them prolly about 25 times tho, the only time i ever got high off a edible was the 1st time i ever had one, someone said dont eat it all and i did, ate it at like 9 blacked out by 10:30 didnt remember the rest of the day, zoned back in at like 5 pm.

Since then no edible has been able to work on me, ive eaten 2 hubby bars, bhang bars, not your grandmas, so many i cant name, but the only one that ever worked was a homemade one by someone else.

I wonder why now that i think about it.


How much do you 40+ year tokers smoke in a day? or in a single session?

I started smoking in '76 also. I have had two breaks. Once while I was at basic training. Then in '91 or '92 when the great marijuana drought happened. That drought is what got me started growing full time.

Puff I been puffin since the late 60s, and I am fortunate to have a loving marriage that has lasted since 73'. The rest of the relationships have been a little rocky..he..he. Ol Mary's been pretty consistant and her n I get along quite well now, we've grown to appreciate each other. I'm not smoking her as much now as mixing my own home made honey/tea concoction. Still she fires me up! Cheers..DD
