Guys I really need your help. Today I brought the lowryders(13) to the hillside spot.

Well I'll try to describe the situation as detailed as possible. As I got to the spot 2 plants in the bed were missing and 1 in a hole, so 3/5 were missing, and the 2 that were still standing were half dug out. Also 1/5 bamboo sticks was missing. When I saw that I went to the upper plants, there were all bamboo sticks pulled out of the ground, some were even broken. And most of the plants were also missing. I had 3 urine bottles at this spot, 2/3 were empty. That one which wasn't was a little dug in the ground. I don't believe that this the was work of animals. But If someone wasn't happy with me planting there, why would he let some plants alive?

And now my question. What would you do?

I planted the Lrs anyway.

Good to be paranoid but it still sounds like animals if they were half dug up. What type of amendments did you use?? When I use to spray liquid fence around my plants the holes always got dug up. I don’t use anything like that any more just some small cages and hope.

Be careful and try to examine the scene look for signs of human encroachment trails, boot tracks. The only hunters I can think of would be Turkey but that was over May 15th around here. Ground hogs are some fucking badass varmints when it comes to MJ destruction any signs of them in the area?

Pero: Finding a new spot would take to much time, I still have enough plants left, but I'm very sorry for the strains I've lost.

Hamstring: I don't think that it were animals, because the bamboo sticks were pulled out and they were about 40cm in the ground so an animal wouldn't be able to pull them IMO, and the urine bottles were empty..

I decided to go to the spot again next week and then decide what to do. I really don't understand that if someone pulled the plants W(TF) would he left some.

Here is also a picture of the lrs I haven't posted last time

Because of what happend I visited the swamp today, all plants are doing great. The temps were a little low, so the progress isn't so big and they were topped last time.

This time I topped the Sweet tooth and Trainwreck, so all plants are topped now. I also LSTed the Tw and Purple maroc and will untie them next time.

Sweet tooth

Trainwreck

Purple maroc

I hope to keep the swamp till the end of the season, because I thought the swamp to be the least secure of my spots. I would have never thought that someone would discover the hillside.

I'm sorry to hear about that phantomx. Did you carefully examined the spot for footsteps? Get really familiar with your patches and surrounding area . Try to remember as much as possible how plants are growing in the area. Be a detective. Look for broken branches and smashed plants from people walking. Maybe it was wild life after all.

Those plants in the swamp will be huuuge by the end of the season. I love them!

perolito: So what happened/what did you do with the remaining plants that have been left over? Did the hunters return...

phantom,
if ya afraid of the hunters coming back or putting a deer-cam near your spot: wearing a hoodie or a hat helps (at least to feel saver). i hope that it just was the work of animals.
keeep em groeing but please play it safe, looking forward to a nice season :good:

Yeah they did return, we had a silent agreement i left the remaining ladies there chopped em at the end but never returned to the spot. What can you do... This season i had to relocate 2 times, they are everywhere...either hunters or asparagus gatherers <.< I hope third time`s the charm haha :D

PS:How are your ladies doin? Survived the bad weather/storms, stunted growth?

Eugen: I'm not really afraid of hunters and if they intended to call the police, they would have already done it. Lol, I would be very happy to find a good deer cam, it would be a excange for the spot loss.

Perolito: I think that it were hunters now, because they pulled the bamboo sticks and emptied the urine bottles. If I was a hunter I would neither be happy finding such stuff in the woods. 1 more thing why I think it were hunters is, that when I was spot hunting in the winter, I went doing it the same day there was a hunt about 2-3km away from the hillside spot. The hunters told me to go far up in the fields(thats where my spot is). I have to say that I've never seen a hunt like that. There were at least 50 hunters, they were just everywhere, so if someone would have a spot there, they would find it for sure. But I don't think that at this time of the year they are allowed to hunt.

I don't know how the ladies are doing, haven't been to any spot since I last posted. Tomorrow I'll probably carry the plants to the backup spot and maybe visit the hillside. If I'll go to the hillside than I'll take some pictures. Last time I was there I was too pissed to take them.

Yeah thats true but some hunters tend to take matters into their own hands and they play forest police so be careful . You are up north so there`s lots of spots i guess, down here too many vineyards/olive trees and whats left of the forest is hunters territory so its a bit difficult...

Looking forward for some Sweet Tooth pics, wanted to plant em this year but went instead with NL and JH, interested if it finishes in time and how prone to mold is.

Perolito: I'm not north, I'm more north-east, so not many spots here  , at least no good ones.

UPDATE TIME!

Today I was at the hillside and the backup spot.

Lets start with the hillside.
From the 13 Lr I brought there 1 survived, I think it were animals, something mice like.

The survivor:

And the rest that survived:
LBPD

Lavender bushman1- this one is very light sensitive, so it got a little sun burned

Guerillas gusto

Mandala 1- purple stem and bottom sides of leaves

None of the plants is showing preflowers yet.

I decided to put some new plants on this spot.

And now the backup spot:

This are the plants that got to the spot today:

St- Sweet tooth
NL- Northern lights
Dp- Durban poison
P1- Passion

The trainwreck that was ment to go to this spot doesn't look good, so I'll donate it to a buddy and instead of her I'll put a WW to the spot. But now that I have only 1 Tw, the Swamp spot must remain undiscovered.

Northern lights- This one is in a little bed amended with a little of my soil mix and some of the mix my buddy used last year.

Durban poison- is in a bigger bed with only native soil. The native soil is mostly sand and some compost

Lr- This one germed way later than the others so I took it to this spot and planted it into native soil.

I think, that I haven't mentioned that a buddy is going to grow on this spot too. I'll take pictures of his plants too, so you can see how much nicer my are  He is going to put at least 7 plants here ( I hope not more), so here are some of his plants.

What I don't like about this spot is that it is full of wallnut plants. I hope they won't diminish the growth too much.

I know that you don't want pictures of small plants only, so I think I'll go to the swamp on saturday if the weather will be good.
