MrCopyZ's PC Grow

I got a pc grow with about 92w CFL and a Emerald Triangle Grapefruit Krush.
Its day 11 (2 days in germ 9 days above ground) things are looking nice. I will post pictures later.
I added ferts with my 6.5 Ph'd water today. Superthrive and John's Recipe Lady Bug Brand.

So we will see. I know your usually not supposed to fert for the first 2 weeks and I am only on day 9. Hopefully all will be well.

I am hoping to get atleast a quarter out of this. I will be doing LST and maybe some higher stress techniques. Im not sure yet.

Very nice man. Might be a little young to fert but it will probably handle very small doses. What's the apparatus to the left of the plant?

Thats my 120mm intake. The way the pc is designed I lost alot of room to it, originally their was a huge heatsink where my plant is, and that was the cooling fan for it...

Why do you use the CFL most to the left? Can't be much light coming from it, which would reach the plant, maybe some indirect light, but is it worth the extra watts?
I would take it out of the PC, and use it for changing out the others as they loose intensity or break.

The watt's don't bother me. Maybe the heat... But right now heat is stable. So I figure it couldn't hurt...

I would have to agree with BisMann about taking out the 2 warm white lights. I would put them back in when the plant begins to be trained in that direction. It's not just the extra watt's but the heat as you mentioned that would make it worth the effort to unscrew them. The heat maybe stable, but it could have the chance of slowing growth. What are the temps running right now anyways?

Another possible saving would be the intensity and possible higher initial lumens that new lights put out. And possibly extend the life of the day light cfls by having lower temps.

Take the screen and two by four out and just let the plants grow up against the glass. If it's to hot for them against the glass, lower the glass or remove a bulb.

The heat shield itself is made of acrylic and is 90F and the plant is about 78-79F.

I have been alternating the plant between under the screen and over the screen. Constantly moving the leaves to show node regions. The idea is to use the screen as an initial LST platform and then later free the plant from it completely with another screen placed where I can train my buds to the light.

But it was like 15 bucks on ebay so why not. Things pretty cool on its own.

If your looking to take a clone off her.
Let one branch grow over the net and once it is long enough.
then take your clone.
Yep-- smoke hard-grow easy...
