She's viney, but sturdy if that makes sense. That's why I think a scrog will be great for an even controlled canopy growth. I was originally going with 32 scrog'd on each 4x8, but now I'm thinking of maybe 48 is the start? Only time and work will tell though. I know somebody that has plans for 36 per 4x4 if I remember correctly, I'm excited to see how that pans out.
Also who defoliates this girl? I've seen her plenty and she never gets really big fans so maybe that works to it's advantage and no need to defoliate. I know some people will jump down my throat for considering defoliating anything, but I've seen benefits in plants firsthand and a couple plants that didn't like it so much. Anyways just wondering?

i am on my 3rd grow of cookies and i would strongly recommend defoliation. she seems small the first few weeks of veg, but once put under 1kw MH for veg she explodes into a dense bush, i have already defoliated my veg plants twice and they will need another round of pruning before they go into flower. i also agree with prophet you will get way more yield with good trellis and going scrog style. my cookies came out very frosty and smelled great and they were very poorly grown due to heat stress and some other issues i was having, so i think its fair to say this is a pretty easy to grow strain compared to OG kush.
Got some.GSC.and animal cookies from the club...the gsc came from berner himself they said...very nice smooth smoke,sweet,flavorful,slight mint taste...def worth the hype...animal cookies.was even denser tighter harder nugs,it was fresh but not as smooth,tasted like some plain cookies lol...they had some platinum cookies which were frostier than both but lookin at all 3 you cpuld tell rite off the bat the gsc and animal were related...ill try and get some pics up by tomarrow...
lol it cracks me up when clubs or venders say things like that...berner is a rapper not a grower...

nah man, berner is a big time drug lord, a pimp, a killer, and an invester. I know because he said it in one of his songs.
Here is my test plant of GSC. It is at 24 days 12/12. It does actually has trichs on the fan leaves. I put one in the room to see if the smoke lives up to the hype and merits a bigger run.
It stretched about double and has wide internodal spacing. The plant looks wispy like some OGs but the stems are quite stiff which surprised me. I don't know if I would have needed the tomato cage.

i got some big cookie plants that im gonna throw in 200s outdoors....curious what shes gonna yield me.
smokin on some fresh GSC from a homie on here...real nice smoke and super caked in frost for only 56 days. real nice upper high, not too much of a body stone. i was able to put in a full mornings work in the grow room without feeling tired at all ...
yea that makes sense thats how i used to find about the specials at garden of eden...i would show up at the club before they even had it on the shelves.

the one i smoked this morning is the one that is circulating amongst IC folks, same cut that cannaventure and CSG have.....it was taken before 60 days so that probably had an impact...took a quick pic before i hit the road..
