Tupur or Botainicare aeration blend all the way

Both are fantastic...got some full 4x8 tupur beds going right now...72 plants in each. To be honest, i think i get slightly higher yield in pure canna coco but slightly higher quality in tupur...strange but ive been testing this theory and so far its holding true!

As far as amino aide is concerned...it sounds great. A type of pgr without the pgr in it i guess? I would be careful with it though. If it does the same "type" of thing as bushmaster and phosphoload i would stay waaaay away from it! While it may not contain carcinogenic chemicals like phosphoload and bushmaster ( we hope not anyway) it may have the same effect (lack of smell/flavor and fluffier buds). Plus i havent seen any lab tests on it showing whats in it like we have seen with bm/ph...

Triacontenal has a similar effect...naturally available in alfalfa meal as well as refined versions. But easily over applied and noticibly changes the bud structure and decreases both smell and taste.

IMO the only good way to reduce node spacing is to keep lights close to plant tops but dont burn them and to use a blue spectrum lights (mh) for veg as well as during stretch into flower (2-3 weeks). Has no effect on the plants smell/taste. Just an opinion and experimenting is always welcome!

Didn't know that bushmaster was carcinogenic. Haven't used it in a long time, for many reasons... I guess one more reason to stay away. Any links on the carcinogenic effects? I'd be interested to read about it.

From what I've been told the effect we're discussing is due to there being a bunch of two types of amino acids in particular-hell they might be on the bottle I forget, will have to check- but I am pretty much completely ignorant when it comes to chemistry so I honestly have no clue. Don't believe there are the scary ones in there or whatever. But again I'm kind of talking out my ass..lol

Interesting about the triacantonal. I was going to steep some alfalfa meal and do some foliaring(it is a word becuase I say so:)) pretty soon. My understanding from reading I've done is that it actually works much much better when used as a foliar spray than as a root drench. It is uptaken much better by the plant.

Solid advice on the lights...colder temps will help with node spacing too although too cold is bad. Some people I know slowly decrease their temps as they go through flower through a certain range.

I just saw some GSC right before harvest. Pollinated a few branches to cross back to the GSC. It was frosty but it was the growers first round with her. Def needs to get the yield up.
I also looked up that dude Berner on youtube, that dude is horrible. Bay area needs some better Mc's if that dude is one of your best.

my bottle says
"derived from : Kelp (ascophyllum nodosum), yucca extract, L-glycine, L- arginine"

funny because the bottle only says its a plant stimulant to increase vigor and yields... it says 5ml per gallon but i do like 1-2ml....

about the rap game...thats why most famous folks suck at rap..and alot of real lyricists rarely get mainstream fame. i wouldnt consider berner among the best in the bay, maybe one of the more famous entertaining ones...like mia said all the good stuff was in the 90s. the new generation caters to that party club gang music....the bay is now known for people like Lil B and Roach Gigz, its pretty sad.

offtopic..

Is it worse than Schedule ONE evil cannabis? Pretty sure that "threat" identified by the always honest US Govt. is approved for use in grapes.

I don't use the product you mention, but I don't give two shits what the government says one way or another. I'm an older guy so I grew up drinking the shit out of ALAR tainted paclobutrazol apple juice and eating the apples. Also haven't seen the cancer cluster form in WA where all those apple farmers sprayed the shit out of ALAR on EVERYTHING in huge quantities for decades. Again I don't use the product however I don't believer there is ANY cancer damage. If there were the old WA apple farmers would be the cancer ridden and dead WA apple farmers.

So you guys are saying there is such a thing as good rap? The good music was in the 60's, 70's(with the exception of disco), and into the early 80's. Guess it's a generational thing, lol

There are too many people out there that think the way you do... I stated a few pages back that I no longer smoke cannabis from other people or dispensaries, and this is the reason why. Avid and floramite are approved for vegetable crops in other countries and it is widely used pesticide in cannabis cultivation. I for 1 do not want to smoke bud sprayed with avid or fm. Are you forgetting that we are supposed to be growing medicine? Oh it should be fine as long as I don't spray too close before harvest right?

Give me a break! I've witnessed hydro stores selling avid to customers in vials illegally and telling people it's okay to spray up to 2 weeks before harvest! You go ahead and smoke that shit all day long, but I won't.

I completely agree that the government is over regulating everything in every category... but this is supposed to be medicine and health and safety should be at the top of your list, not the bottom.

I don't want to get you all up in arms, but as you mentioned some of these things are approved for food uses in other countries and is approved for grape use in this country. To answer your questions. I try to grow AMAZING great tasting, pesticide, and chemical free cannabis. I personally feel that products that dissipate to NOTHING prior to harvest are fine. If you can't detect anything then how can the NOTHING cause you any harm?

Can't comment on bad practices of hydro store owners, but I can tell you is the good growers around here do not use AVID in flower. The cannabis I smoke is grown personally or by people I know. Like I said if ALAR was going to get me it would be from all the apple juice in the 70's and 80's not the cannabis of the 90' 00' or 10's.

Health and safety are number four on my list. First is quality of high, Second is quality of taste and flavor, third is density of QUALITY buds, FOURTH is health and safety BECAUSE I don't use the products you mentioned AND I flush my hydro plants for 14 days with PHd water and CarboLoad. My flowers taste GREAT and have ZERO sprayed on them in flower.

Hope this helps.

LOL. I hear that. When it comes to who's responsible for the dumbing down of society they'll be in the group with the other popular kids at the head of the line. Yeeeeaaaaahh>In my best Lil Wayne internet voice, lol

Glad to hear you dont spray your buds :) but too many people do and it worries me. Im not upset with you in any way just giving my opinion on the subject! I completely agree with the over regulation of our government but we need someone to regulate it or we may all die from pesticides and other toxic substances... but government always oversteps their boundaries...
