the DWC is working its magic and they are healthy and growing well.

you can see the start of the little pistils in the close up pic. (or i hope so given the limited size of the pics i can post atm.)

I'm no auto guru by no means, but I usually like my plants to stretch a bit more than your to get less shading and more space for buds to build up.
Its not like you can veg them too long.

your right.
they were a bit flat because i was using cfl's for the first few weeks and kept the lights very close to the plants. Now the HPS is going, and much further away, there starting to stretch a bit

more pics on the weekend:)

still learning

i've been underfeeding.
compared to my regular strains these little ladies have a big appetite.
when i checked the EC and Ph i found they had eaten the lot and the PH was way out of whack.
i did a test and in a 12 hour period the EC went from 2.2 to 1.9 and the PH from 5.7 to 6.0.
so i might have to change nutes every 3 or 4 days :watchplant:

it would have been good to get a bit of advice from a grower who had done this strain before, but there u go.

I'm used to being a member of a smaller forum where everybody knew everybody and you get lots of advice from more experienced growers.
i can see these much larger forums have there downside. your posts get lost in the crowd and it takes a long while for peps to recognize you.

its a bit disappointing when you only get 3 hello's from you intro thread. it doesn't make you feel part of a community.
not sure i like feeling anonymous.
anyway i'll finish the diary and post a smoke report, then see.

tasmania what? ;) sometimes being anonymous is an asset. it's not too hard to find the information you need around here.

it's a fair bit warmer here and i haven't had your last two weeks of growth in the last two months. HAARP or something. happy growing.

so some update pics that are green not yellow :)

this is my first Auto grow and i'm impressed with the size.
i thought they would be tiny but grown in DWC they get to be a respectable size for an indoor plant.

seed breeders

seed breeders

i'll be posting an update with pics when the lights come back on today. in the meantime i want to have a rant about seed breeders.

i read a lot of posts bagging the breeders and how some seeds are barren and the plants are shit.

well this is not a post like that.

let me give a very big thumbs up to the Joint Doctor for an excellent job.

there is no visible difference in the three plants, they are like peas in the pod, so a very stable.

they are healthy, no odd mutations, and are vigorous strong plants.

when you think that they are Feminised, autos and the skill needed to combine all the key traits and produce a healthy, uniform plant its really amazing.

i wouldn't like to try and cross breed from this strain as i suspect its so finely balanced that it would unwind like a broken spring if you introduced anything else into the mix.

this is my first Auto grow and a "mug grower" like me has been able to produce 3 X 20inch plants that are powering on to bloom like express trains.

Hats off to you Joint Doctor and whoever it was that did the breeding.

I dont know how it will smoke but if its as good as all the other aspects im in for a real treat.

pics to follow today :tiphat:

PS: im not employed or connected to the breeder in any way

the smell is starting to kick in.
fruity, passionfruit, tropical, spicy, yum:biggrin:

as a first time auto grower i'm impressed with the size of this strain. they are getting close to 2 foot.
i'm also getting the hang of the 'white balance' on the camera so more green than red now.

the buds are thickening up nicely

:tiphat: Hi Taslicker
I really don't want anyone to know who I am.....anonymous is the only safe way IMO
That said, these forums here at ICmag, for me, is like commin' into a huge crowded room where I don't know anyone, and they don't know me.....it takes time to meet a few people.

I'm blown away with the skills and experience on display here, you only gotta sit back and have a look round....all the info you could ever want is here.

Anyway, I'm gonna hang in here and see how these ladies pull up for ya!:joint:

ive two easyryders going, one is pure dank already at 5 weeks, the other looks not as impressive, im making seeds with a mossy jem male with both of them, keep us posted n check my grow as well, all the best and if u want a huge ak auto try short stuffs auto assasin, it is the most impressive plant ive ever seen so far, at 5 weeks it blows away my easy ryders, its triple the plant.

thanks for dropping by guys.
they've started to stretch again and i keep having to raise the light to stop heat stress on the top buds.
if they dont stop soon i'll run out of height.
i might have to pinch the stems n lay the top buds over.
i know its a bit late for LST but i might not have an option.
oh well, you cant complain if your plants are getting too big

when will it end

when will it end

just a few pics to show their progress.

but im a bit worried that their very slow to bud up.
there on 7 weeks from germination now and nowhere near finished.
the buds are small and underdeveloped and there is only very light frosting around the buds.
one grow guide says 7 week from germination and another says 10 weeks.
looking at them now it looks more like its going to be 10 week plus.
small buds.jpg

there also still growing and i keep having to lift the light to keep it 12 inches from the top buds.
the plants are currently 700mm tall (app 28 inches) they better stop soon or i'll have to start pinching the taller bud stems and bending them over.
more than 2 foot.jpg

just a few pics.
these plants have a long way to finish.
the flower time on the seedbank site said 7 week.
ha! they must have had a sense of humour.
I'd say 10 to 12 weeks at least.
there over 7 week now.

the buds are starting to frost up
trichomes.jpg

and there bursting out of the cupboard
too big for the box.jpg

there is only 200mm left to raise the HPS and i run out of height.
i hope they stop growing soon.
