This one smells like delicious dirt and sweet spices I'm not sure I can pin it down but it has a great smell, its def not ditchweed.If I have time I'll bring it down today and after the big leaves are off I'll have a better idea...

Vietnam Black has a totally different taste, aroma and character than haze and haze hybrids. The high is especially clear and enjoyable. Im sure you will enjoy her!

Im not sure how many weeks she was into flower before harvest time but looks like she yielded a good amount of buds in a short-moderate time. Vietnam Black Thai is our fastest and better yielding meo thai hybrid, she finishes around late October in my area, this is consider VERY good for a pure tropical sativa hybrid with no indica.
Can't wait to hear more about your future tunes!

No complaints here, not a bit.I just manicured these bottom pieces and they smell great.I wish I could have taken this thing further, I was , honestly too chickenshit to turn on my huge a/c in March, even though it was 70 outside but that heat wave popped out a bunch of leaves in the low scrub and the nieghbors are about out of site now and my a/c's running, I'm waiting until May to start anymore seed runs....I'll go smoke some with a coffee and report back, I'm rebuilding a big room full of plants its gonna be a PIA but awesome as well...

I smoked a joint and put the buds in a bag and after about an hour the buds started pushing a twangy, maybe orangey like columbian stuff stink.Its a pretty good high and tastes just fine with no flush, it tastes nice and dirty.The buds on the branch, in the bag reminds of an old Sinsemilla Tips magazine picture, remember that magazine?? I used to buy it in Ocean Beach in SD at this mega head shop, they stole my bike and my wallet!!!I never could figure out how to keep a bike without someone stealing it in some Cali areas.I mysteriously had my wallet returned a year later to my schools police dept with all my ID but no money....

Yep, The Black is your quintessential smoke shop...except it's now residing next to ground central for a 'modern age' hapless...homeless...youth + feral dogs + BO + Patchouli (if your lucky)...come shake down and give me your spare change sort of scene. Maybe not too far from the bike stealing days of Chaco's remembrance, but the neighbors are a bit stranger these days and stealing bikes is way more effort than fleecing the out of towners.
If no one minds, I'm going to resuscitate this thread (and a nice thread it was) to ask a couple of questions about VBxT...
Here's the thing, I have two female clones - one is rangy the other is substantially more compact. IF I were to grow 'em out, I would probably go with the more compact one - I was wondering what pheno this might be? It's not squat but it looks better and perhaps more fully structured than the other pheno - which is tall, wide space nodes and very undeveloped sidebranch sites.
I was also wondering how long people recommend taking the strain - and whether the length of flowering may be pheno related. I'm planning on taking a hiatus come summer and I don't know whether I have the time to grow it all the way out (about 90 days, I guess).
Finally, I would love to hear more from people who have grown it out or smoked it. I have read several threads on this but still don't have a sense as to its "head."
Anyhow - thanks for reading and for your thoughts, sativa warriors!

Fuck it man, grow 'em both!
Give 'em root space and fluffy medium and they will reward you big time! They should take about 12 weeks. Throw 'em in flower quick and you should be fine. If I remember correctly Chaco flowered a 4" clone into a gal or two of coco and had a 4-5 foot "Cousin It" looking plant by the time he had to chop her. And, he chopped her early due to a stress related banana.
I found them to have a good strength. Not super potent, but just right daytime, go do something smoke.
For me they were introspective, thought provoking, and movement motivating. My friends found themselves "stupid high". Yes, it can be hard to articulate yourself while very high!

Hey, inquest. I like your style!! Thanks for the info - I think I will maintain the clones (two phenos) through my summer hiatus and perhaps grow 'em out in the fall. I realize that describing a high is impossibly subjective and difficult - it's interesting that you say they were not super potent but your friends found themselves stupid high. So many strains and so few me's.
