the supposed 'real' AW that i got smells like cream... Like you know those orange creamsicle ice cream pops. Well it smells like the cream in the middle. Not getting much orange, or any garlic, i suppose you could associate its smell with garlic... But right now it smells like a creamsicle playdough kinda thing... Almost like a creamy donut.. I dont know, its so hard to describe.. I have never smelled a strain like it... The girlscoutcookies almost has a similar sort of 'dough' type smell that i get in the AW.

Very unique herb. I grew it to perfection years ago and wowed everybody with it. Was pulled over with 2 lbs and they smelled it but did not search cause I told them it was my wifes car air freshner!! the dried stalks, very aromatic just like the herb so I used as firewood!

i will have to agree with that 10000% There are some OLD growers Senior citizens , that encompass all of the above except , RARELY do they get to count there $$ thow lol, they have no union health care or network.. most dont grow the trendy cuts of the day... its hard to see and very sad , We wouldnt be where we are with out them..
When like you mentioned above ethics ..... 98% lack it now days...

Even some of the nar nar legendary old guys are lacking it too.. and there absorbed by instant gratification stepping on each other from there generation, Over whats ethical for all involved for the long term..

Somebody mentioned a place in SO CA for cuts... if you have a BAD exp and mention it.. you get your ass tore up by people who havent been around the block enough to get burned by "people" and think there just penny whistles and moonpies.

im tore between helping other's i dont know to avoid bad exp's

and looking out for my self regardless of others needs
so i can avoid the Drama that came come from being honest
based on first hand BAD Exp ...

only thing i suggest when you ask questions make sure answers are coming from somebody that has been around the block at least once

shes really started to chunk up and has a great calyx/leaf ratio. Has a sort of og like nug appearance, /structure but the smell is not og at all.
She seems like she finishes faster than most my other strains. I have a chem d that was put in the same time as the AW and the AW looks much more mature than the chem.
This is my first time flowering her, and she is not even close to being dialed in, i cant imagine how much better she will be next time i run her

Wow, I love all of the info on Albert Walker. I have been keeping an eye out for this strain ever since I had a small sample a few years ago...

I was super excited to see a local dispensary listing Albert Walker; but my hopes were crushed after I reread this thread. If the Albert Walker cut comes from APE; is it still safe to conclude it is the Dago Walker and not the real deal? I was so excited to possibly have a source for this long sought after plant, but now I am hesitant to even try it. I have access to some great strains; but I really don't want to grow any more OG...

For those folks outside Seattle, how widely circulated is this cut up there? I still have relationships up there and feel like another trip up North may be the best way to secure a cutting of this gem. I would gladly drive twelve hours each way for the real AW... Although, last I heard they were hyping a plant they called Helmet up in the "Rickets"?
