Im looking for the perfect cash crop plant and although ive been doing this now for going on 15 years my experiences with different strains is limited......

White Widow was the first plant i grew but swapped that for the original Cheese however after a few years and a few close saves with the law we went with Pot Of Gold and wow... POG was by far the best plant ive ever grew, easy to grow, very big yielder and simple to crop, perfect for a commercial grower...

Anyway after a short stint in jail i lost my POG and years later its just not the same plant, i believe its been messed about with and after going through about 6 packets of seeds ive come to the conclusion that its lost forever.......

Im a hydro grower and need your help guy's, i have Critical Mass on the go now but would love to hear your experiences and views to help me pick a new strain....

Thank you so much for your time....

These are pics of [True cannabliss] Casey Jones.
Not tried this yet but going by the yield i'd grow only this IF i was going for a Cash Crop.Chemdog D would be a good choice too.

CJ.

1.5 oz each from those Chem D's in little 3.5l pots

Some real commercial plants came from this one , high yield , good taste and potency and an easy trim.

Golden Skush is the same cross , may stil be around but getting old now , some of the best freebies ever.

The few independant comercial growers left locally run an old Widow cut or a T44 selection , and give it a dozen more interesting names.

The 14/50 cycle and high yield of decent bud mean the T44 is hard to displace , despite offering them proven and tastier options.

Unless you have a select niche market to sell into , i would not grow anything too fancy.

Quality really stands out against the average street and will atract more business than needed and unwelcome attention from rivals.

Casey would allow five consecutive flowerings a year and require a longer veg , T44 will run seven crops and outyield anything per annum , its a nice smoke if left to 70 days for personal.

your not wrong when you say growing quality weed brings you rivals not at me but the guy who i give it to is

when i decide to ditch cuts i hand em out to the locals seems to even it out abit lol the quality isnt there tho god knows what they do to it

whats t44? top44

for me ,quality first then yield no good having a plant that yields and is poor quality

peace:tiphat:

edit forgot to say if you want quick turn over look for some c99 seeds or a nice cross also check out lui13 by dutchgrown seeds if you want indica ,check the grow reports in her sub forum theres some very good yielders

peace

If nothing local can be found then its a seed lottery , NL crosses or a line bred classic from Mr Nice would be my choice , four packs of nirvanas AK version or widow/rhino would also find something useable longterm.

Cash crop priorities are yield , speed , stability and ease of trim.

A little different to what most people want on here , but a valuable clone to have.

Power Plant if you can find a good pheno which is supposedly very hard from seed.

i used to have a cut from the Gloucesetershire area which was 8 weeks and very high yielding. great up high. wish i still had it.
i was told that much of the named weed sold in holland is actually powerplant taken at different times, wouldnt surprise me.

I do agree that for me yield, speed and ease of trim are important but will say this. When i was growing cheese everyone loved it, they just couldn't get enough but for me it just wasn't worth the risk. My carbon filters wouldn't help with the smell and we had numerous close shaves...

I switched to POG despite many complaints and once people smoked it they were happy again, in fact they absolutely loved it.... I am off the opinion if grown correctly any plant will be well received compared to the absolute rubbish i see out there.....

Again just my opinion but there are so many thousands of new growers out there who really have no clue what their doing, and because of this theres huge amounts of crap out there....

Btw, if there was never another ££ to be made from growing that wouldn't stop me, i really do love what i do and its the only thing i look forward to every day.....

From seed, AK47 very nice, NLxBB is alright, Shiva Skunk from Sensi seeds a few years back was alright too all of those have good yields and are kinda generic.

Personally I would still grow the best strains as they command the highest prices, You could grow Big Bud or Critical Mass but quality stuff fetches around £60 an oz more round our way. If somebody else is selling Chemdog and your selling Big Bud they will buy the Chemdog.

The market price difference between top grade and average crap does not make up the difference in yield and time.

The original question referred to a cash crop , the poster is risking prison with previous , and should be maximiseing his profit and get out quick , its not a hobby grow and has to be considered on profit alone.

You could grow Big Bud or Critical Mass but quality stuff fetches around £60 an oz more round our way.

A lad on a nearby ghetto estate tried that , he was beaten half to death a week later and his family traumatised , dont make waves.

The only people i know who have stayed around have always disposed of the crop in bulk through a single person to be sold at a distance , at a relatively low price per gramme , currently 2.5 - 3 and only the very best gets 4 tops and has to be a kilo to go back up the line

If you sell direct to local consumers it will probably end badly , have seen it happen many times when too many know.
