Willy im kinda wondering how far you keep the light aprox and what line of nutes you are using? im going to do the same concept with the lolipop next run but i veged untill they are about 16 inches aprox and then lolipopping im thining leaving 3 nodes then doing the flip the plants are already 12 -15 inches and loli poped im just wating for this bush of mine to finish up soon.

i cant wait to see your bush finished Darkvade! it should yield a pretty nice amount of budda!
It is Day 45 of 12/12, and my PK is looking like shes almost ready
, since ive been feeding her with just b-strap molasses , her buds are filling up nicely, and everything is looking SHINEY!
I looked at a bud i cut off 5 days ago under a scope and it showed 50%cloudy 35% clear 15% amber. should be like another week or so.. Ive been told its an 8 week strain.

looks like the calyxes have fattened up, and pistils are retracting.
hopefuly shell be ready soon, if she isnt alredy. i need some help with this one, if anyone can tell or has grown pure kush help is appreciated!

heres my mystery mix 3 days after swapping out my cfls for the 150hps. ive never grown out anything this sativa before so im finding it interesting. seems to be all pistols and little calyx's. not sure if this is normal? hoping they will plump up a bit more. since im in my 9th week and they took almost 3 to show sex, im thinking feed for 2 more weeks and flush for 2 bringing it to 13 or even 14 weeks.
Calyx develop in clusters. When you see pistils clumped together, that particular cluster hasn't yet swelled. The cluster sheath eventually becomes bud leaves and the calyx are free to swell with oil. As the calyx swell, the clumped pistils separate, begin to die and the plant gets a "toasted" look. When you're able to see one pair of brown pistils throughout the cluster, it's time to check your trich color. If you don't want amber you may have to chop before pistils turn brown.
One way to gauge how large the calyx will swell, compare them to your original pre flowers which should already be mature size.
That's an awesome grow. I hope HPS is at least keeping up with the CFL.

thanks Disco! i do have some lower popcorn nugs that have a nice shade of orange pistols. but none on the tops. i had pretty much trimmed up everything to just have tops. ill check the trichs tomorrow with the scope but im sure there not even close.

Here is an update on the pk day 50 its getting clipped down in 5 days.i removed a bunch of fan leafs tonight been flushed a week ago doesnt look purple and kinda smells like sour diesl but i like the size of this nugget.
This was grown with techna flora nutes but i did give it a healthy dose of advanced nutes one time on week 5 cause the trichomes wasnt coming in very good but the size of this nug and qualty of bud is nice.

hEY THanks jc i just noticed the can i was holding says cola and its next to my main cola lol fricken drinking genaric cola and smoking premium cola hehe . i cant wait to get that bitch on the scale. the dro that is growing next to her has a nice nugget on her too and smells like a bag of oranges probley an eight!
