they wanna make up their own facts. i repeatedly tell people i know from the right 'you are entitled to your own opinion, but not your own facts' !!!!

common denominator, they all watch FOX news almost exclusively...

oh course then there is the fact 'he's black' :peek: <-- a bunch of folks can't get over this....

obama is hated so much by the christian right, they are gonna vote for CULT member Romney instead of one of their own. the far right right has lost their common sense. vaginal penetration ultrasounds, insurance coverage of contraception and separation of church and state are all they are capable of processing...

fuck jobs and the economy, these 50 year social issues should be rehashed...

FUCK THE RIGHT, they are clueless....

I consider myself a Christian Republican although I would rather have Obama another four years rather than Santorum, Romney, or Newt. I can not stand Santorum. He has not come across as Christian to me, always beating the war drum and what not. Dr. Paul is the only candidate that makes sense to me.

I think ultrasounds should be offered, not mandated.

I'm glad Ron Paul is out there getting his message out, challenging the status quo and all. His chances of getting elected are slim to none though and slim just left town after Super Tuesday.

Deep down I'm OK with this though. Paul is such a lone voice in the wilderness that he wouldn't be able to get anything done in Washington and honestly the situation isn't fixable IMO until it totally breaks down. Looking at the US's record February Budget Deficit and this continued increase of poor quality part time jobs heralded by the politicians as something good even though these jobs will lead to poor tax revenue collection leaves a lot to be desired.

US Budget Deficit Hits All Time High In February
For a global economy that is "improving" we sure are getting a whole lot of records in the won't direction in the last two days. Yesterday it was Japan which printed a record current account deficit (yes, the most indebted country in the world was once upon a time supposed to export its way out of debt). Today, we learn that in February the US will report its largest budget deficit in history, as the Keynesian floodgates open full bore, and as Zero Hedge has noted repeatedly, tax revenues just refuse to come in at anything close to the pace of accelerated spending, forcing the US to borrow 54 cents for every dollar it spends (not the often cited 42 cent number which does not take into account tax refunds - see here). We would comment more on this, but frankly the chart speaks for itself. And now that the US has to fund an additional $100 billion due to the taxcut extension this means that things are only going to get worse, fast.

US%20Surplus.jpg

And a longer term chart which is also self-explanatory... and quite sustainable

Budget%20Deficit%20LT.png
Again these charts take into account "on the books" numbers. Good luck taxing "the rich" enough to make up for that. Even if/when taxes are raised significantly on the upper brackets, the super rich will just move their money around, change the tax code, and let the burden fall onto the productive class.

I guess the more we can spend, the more wars we can fight, the more we can borrow, and the more we can print is the fastest way to a point where we can begin resolving our problems.

If we are already at borrowing 54c of every dollar we spend surely creditors will still lend to us when we are borrowing 70% or 80% or even one day 100% of what we spend.

Check your facts, Taliban wouldn't turn over OBL so we authorized going after the Taliban. Remember, the then leaders of Afghanistan?

The leaders of Afghanistan, Sept 11 2001, (overtly) condemned the attack AND UBL.

What Mullah Omar did was a totally different thing.

Im fucking shocked how you could get this wrong.

Taliban diplomat condemns attacks
AMERICAN CHILDREN
September 11, 2001

Afghanistan's Taliban ambassador to Pakistan has condemned the string of astonishing terrorist attacks on the United States.

"We want to tell the American children that Afghanistan feels your pain. We hope the courts find justice," ambassador Mullah Abdul Salam Zaeef said in a statement in Pakistan after America was hit by a series of attacks that have been called the worst since Pearl Harbor.

U.S. President George W. Bush has said they were "terrorist attacks" and American officials say their "working assumption" is that the attacks in New York and Washington are acts of "overseas terrorism."

They have added they cannot rule out additional attacks.

Officials say they had no intelligence beforehand that a massive terrorist plot was under way.

There have been a number of denials of responsibility by Palestinian groups and by the Al Quaida group headed by fugitive Saudi accused terrorist Osama bin Laden.

U.S. officials say they have no credible claim of responsibility.

We were not fighting a country, we were fighting ~200 well funded thugs.

The current 'taliban' are nothing but 'Pashtun NATIONALIST', they want ALL FOREIGNERS to leave, soviet, american, nato, it doesnt matter.

Funding actual terrorist operations is much more difficult now, but the 11+ years of war have created many more than there were originally.

Good ol RummyCheneyBakerBush! Those crazy rascals...

Which means the American MIC has much more war to wage and many more people to kill. Such are the repercussions for "declaring war" on non-sovereign entities or ideas.

The war on terror will never end, it will just escalate because fighting the war exasperates the problem of the world hating us the more we fight. One of America's many infamous "accidental" blowbacks or better stated negative feedback loops.

It's good for the elites wallets....er I mean national security and spreading "freedom" of course.

who else here has heard of our dabbling in ugandan affairs? KONY2012 ?

i just watched this[YOUTUBEIF]Y4MnpzG5Sqc[/YOUTUBEIF]

now i would whole heartedly agree this kony guy is a horrible person, and deserves whatever he gets. this being said why wouldnt it be easier if these kids who started off as collecting charity for the cause now pander to the govt ?
why is this somthing that cant be carried out with a firm with a high success rate like executive outcomes who fought for angola,it seems to me that the movie was meant to explain to children a false foreign policy,of wherever injustice exists the US has to intervein.

so according to the video we have troops there now,so this is already has broken our laws, worst is the video doesnt explain whats going to happen afterward like all our recent foreign ventures that have failed or we are still mired in.

the group for this cause has chosen april 20th (420) as the day for lining the streets in advertisments, really good way to get the attention of the youth, and attempts to have him out by the end of 2012!

but then there is this peice of info to consider,
http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/02/06/uganda-oil-idUSL5E8D50FS20120206

and a follow up by the huffo post suprisingly, http://www.huffingtonpost.com/michael-deibert/how-invisible-childrens-k_b_1334410.html

who highlights that the govt of uganda and the US had attempted to capture kony in 08 and failed, kony went on a murdering spree as revenge,so the same invisable childrens group who states they want to help is actually fuling more militarisim in that country.

The part im pissed at is the guy who made the video doesnt consider the lives of all the people involved, wich now includes youth of the united states.

^The reason we like Ron Paul is because he has been consistent in his view points for 26 years and never play into the media bull shit. Never sold out his message to gain likability. In every interview he calls out bs, and brings the conversation back to the actual point, and makes the reporter look dumb.

^^^ true !!!!!!

but most reporters excel at making themselves look stupid anyway ............ it is good to see that "your're that fuckin' stupid ?" look, shining in RP's eyes before they even finish the questions.

These are the reasons i like him too.

I dont think he ever tries to make anyone look dumb (personally, i would welcome that). He just lays his message out, and normally does a good job of differentiating and explaining his message.

I wish he was more lion and less fox!

I wish he would ask Newt in a debate, 'how can he bomb iran and lower gas prices?'...

Dr Pauls best showing in the debates was the "I was married with two kids, and i served" moment.

It might have been Newts political Stalingrad. Newt was surging ahead, just making up non-sense. The other two couldnt shut him up, but Dr Paul sure did.

well sir accept my apology. i tend to generalize...

with that said, you being right minded politically and christian are able to see things more clearly than a lot of those on the right...
