yes it tastes like thin mints... I get it mostly on the exhale... also on the dry hit.... smells like really loud og.....yes it's the strongest flower I have found in the bay so far.... good work ogkushbreath, I went to waterfall and cbcb. I don't like the animal nearly as much as the GSC...

Curious how you can post that "Information" when you didn't pop the seeds yourself and aren't part of the crew that did. What you think is more than one cut is S1s and different environments producing slightly different end products. Just one plant that goes with the brand name "GSC" ...You either have it or you don't..And that's how the cookies crumble.

sometimes clubs will have deals on greenhouse or outdoor for 50 a quarter...but for good indoor 50-60 an 8th is the standard..especially for hyped strains like og kush or cookies..

on the street cookies sells for 250 an OZ and up...clubs charge east coast prices for the zip usually 300-400 a pop because they would rather break it down, so they discourage bulk purchase.

the durban leaning gsc deff has thin mint smell, dont get me wrong the og domnate one is very good but the durban domnate one has more of a "thin mint smell" fyi the durban domnate one is harder to come by for sure.

like i said nothing against the og domnate (structure of og gdp combinded) looks beatiful,taste bomb as hell. the durban hairs are more pronounced on the finished product thats how you tell them apart.they both have a simular smell when fresh but after the jar cure. one stands out a lil more then the other for sure.

im not tryin to ruffel anybodys feathers just throwin some info out there.

Do you think you could rent me that time machine you used to get all that vast experience with the Cookies?

I understand the need to try to position yourself to get the actual GSC cut...But I'm not sure how it's going to go if you just keep faking the funk. Let's let cats like LumpStatus and OGKushBreath drop the info...If they even have any. A lot of times cats who are growing the real deal cut know nothing about what they have other than that they're happy to have it...

nobody can really know for sure unless the breeder himself gets on here....some folks have said they popped tons of beans and only kept one pheno...but im sure others are out there.


the original circle only released one version of GSC to my knowledge...different samples from different growers are called certain names...fortune for commercial early picked cookies, platinum for the really loud 65 day packs that are white with frost...

then some other growers bought seeded LBs and might have taken new clones off the s1 bagseed...so those cuts are floating around out there but those are not real cookies, they are cookie S1 and might show variation..i grew out some cookie S1 that looked like real deal but had issues with herm...and i grew out some cherry pie S1 that came out nothing like cherry pie...

and then theres animal cookie which is a backcross to FIRE OG which was bred by a seperate group of guys than the original GSC breeders....

But how can there be two different phenos of a clone? Or did I misunderstand your post?

I assumed originally some crosses were made and a single clone was chosen...gsc. Is that not true? And if it is either the Durban or the other one has to be an S1..which is the real deal?

OGKB mentioned they popped "thousands" of beans from the cherry pie x OG cross.....so maybe one of them kept a special pheno from that cross.


but afaik there was only one commercially released pheno of cookies to most growers....but who knows maybe theres a room somewhere running a different cut of cookies..

most people agree that even if the end result comes out different, its mostly growers hand in that...not different genetics. ive seen some cookies come out super dense with white frosted smaller nugs, and others come out real big bud and looking like cherry pie with a gold/green contrast to purple...but its same cut just different growers, different mediums, different room, etc...

also theres rumors that people were passing out the larger yielding, durban dominant cherry pie pheno as GS cookies....so some folks might be growing cherry pie and thinking their cookies came out different from the rest..yosemite i think when people are talking about 2 differentphenos its CHERRY PIE....CP has 2 distint phenos on the market, one mutant leafed, denser, dark purple pheno that smells like straight GDP grape..and a larger yielding, normal leafed pheno that produces big durbany nugs with purple tint...(pictured below)

this cherry pie i grew almost looks like cookies when you first look at it, same fan leaves....smells a bit different, but im sure i could have passed this cut out to a few folks and they wouldnt have known the difference (I DIDNT DO THIS btw)

He had me get some SFV and Larry OG's and a West Coast Dog instead.
