Man, you are a walking contradiction. First you start off by saying,
I don't really care who you are or what you think, if you aren't in favor of a bill supporting decriminalization or legalization or cannabis, your either dumb or a fuckin prick.

Then you say things like:
MONEY DOES NOT FUCKING MATTER WITH THIS ISSUE, IT'S ABOUT PERSONAL RIGHTS AND NOT HAVING TO BE THROWN IN JAIL WITH VIOLENT CRIMINALS OVER SMOKIN A LITTLE PLANT.

Isn't freedom of speech part of "personal rights"? Yet you say anybody that disagree's with you is "dumb or a fucking prick". Fact is in California it isn't the pigs, the feds, or any other entity. It is the peoples fault that we haven't voted to change the current laws. That is a democracy, deal with it. I totally understand that propaganda has made America's view on cannabis a negative one. However again, it's the peoples fault for listening to the government without researching for themselves. America is waking up on what is important in the world, but we need to act on our feelings and study what we are voting on.

I don't know when it became a war on idea's in America. The attitude that I am right, and what ever you say is dumb is so childish it makes me sad. What happened to arguing your side of the argument with facts and valid points? Then stopping and listening to the other side of the argument? And even then, shake hands and agree to disagree? People are so ignorant these days.

With that said, I will vote for this bill in the upcoming elections.

Also, what percentage of people in Cali are growers that object to this bill because they feel they would loose money? Maybe 1% of the population? I don't see how that has much of an effect on the bill passing or not. It is main stream Cali that is on the fence.

Yo man

The point is, there won't be a bill if someone doesn't throw some big money at it really quick like. Where are the celebrities? Where is Soros? Where is fucking Snoop Dogg for christ sake? RMLW is well written, very well written, and the next best chance won't be until 2016. The excuse I heard was that medical needs to be properly regulated first...wtf? If it's legal, it's legal, that's the new regulation. It's a separate issue. RMLW is polling at 62%, prop 19 was polling at like 56% this time 2 years ago..i'm not from cali but I keep up with these things

I think there are more people that like the wording of this one better. I think more will vote for this one then the last. We did not lose by much last time.

It is such a shame to even be on this website and see people who have a love for the same plant as me....maybe im wrong....$$$$ rules everything. corrupts everything. I live everyday wondering if I will have my door knocked down. At any moment I could lose all my freedom. you people out in cali dont know how good you got it. Yall better look out before big pharma snatches your prized prop 215 and yall are right back at the bottom with the rest of us.

even though i would stand to lose money i would vote in support of RMLW act, i am not afraid of trying to compete in a legalized market i already got acres in place ready to convert from vineyard to greenhouses if need be, seed companies, marketing companies, etc...but i will NEVER support any ASA funded iniative. the ASA's goal is monopolize the entire california marijuana market, with hopes that they can spread nationwide....same thing with any initiatives backed by big pharma. i will not trade prop215 for an industry where only select mega corps grow weed legally and crash the price, and keep small time growers illegal, because thats what would happen. read the fine print, if you are over limits of their BS square footage or plant counts you are still illegal!

RMLW would let mom and pop growers continue to grow and sell their wares to processors and distributors, just like vineyards and winemakers operate today...but the ASAs act would prohibit everyone from growing weed, you would have to sign up with their collectives and they would grow meds for you...

either way...the whole situation is FUBAR as fuck....and i dont see this initiative passing due to one important glaring fact ---- THIS IS AN ELECTION YEAR------

krunch, if you were my friend, I would be deeply disappointed in you, and try to smack some reality into you. Maybe you could be saved then, what is your deal, have you smoked yourself retarded????

Do you realize you are saying you are ok with people going to jail for growing a plant That you yourself have been busted for? You wish what has happened to you to happen to others? You don't care? Do you have family in other states without mmj? Friends? Do you only care about yourself? What if someone did not have the connections or money to avoid some crazy jail sentence ? Is it fair that lower class or unpriveledged people get stuck with the unfair sentences? Anybody living in Cali is in a very unique and lucky situation, and should NEVER forget that. Now AGs & the feds have come in to remind you of that. But you still wish for it to stay illegal??? Do you want it to be fully black market yet again?

I would like to normalize my lifestyle and be known as a citizen who is just as good of a person as anyone else within our society. I am tired of being in the shadows looked down upon. I work 7 days a week, I pay my taxes, I go out of my way to do nice things for others. Yet my life could be ruined and come crashing on me just for a plant. I would lose my wife and I don't what I would do...Our government needs to accept us and our culture and LEGALIZE IT!!!!! BTW RMLW is the way to go....

Bullfrog - please, free speech. I never once said anything against free speech. But that doesn't change the fact that this country is sick, and people are fuckin stupid. If you don't like to hear my opinion I'm so very sorry. Shame on me for calling people retarded who would see me thrown in jail for using my medication. Shame on me, I'm a real walking contradiction. Maybe I should send them flowers and sit there and listen to there completely ignorant opinions on a subject matter they obviously don't truly understand but effects my life and my loved ones lives every single day.

We live in a country with millions of sheep being herded by the main stream media and corrupt politicians. Sure these people have a right to free speech, it does NOT mean they aren't fucking stupid. It may sound juvenile to you but THAT IS ME USING MY FREE SPEECH TO EXPRESS MY OPINION. Don't be a 'walking contradiction' bull frog. :D

Anyways guys I do think the wording for the bill is important. But we must remember if cannabis if ever legalized this is America, there will always be a group of rich fucks looking to capitalize and monopolize cannabis. They might get away with mass production, but there will always be people growing the kind bud for sick people and stoners alike. I highly doubt any corporation will be able to legally stop such a thing for happening no matter how loud there wallets speak.

I think the most important thing right now is setting the law in place to federally legalize cannabis at least in California. That will be one giant step, if they're a few flaws in the bill, well they can be ironed out I would think. At least people wouldn't be thrown in prison ya know? I'm all for supporting the mom and pop growers of course, if a bill gets passed shining the light on them specifically that's wonderful.

legislation of mmj is not a good thing for growers. there will be commercial growers that each county will be backing. they will regulate sales and prices, and be expected to supply the entire county. the small growers will become illegal . look at what oakland tried to do. it was just that. they contracted a small group to commercially grow for the entire bay area. the city was going to control it all. the bill never passed so the feds sent them leters saying to stop. if you only smoke then this would be good, not for growers .they want all the money it creates .

Its a police state, do you think " legalizing" will make all the retarded rules go away or will there just be MORE laws and rules? Naive people, internet people..do some cockpush ups, get some of that blood moving.

Make it legal for the true sick, cancers and other bad bad things. Not some 20 something with a ( poor poor baby) Hand cramp or some shit.

You guys that believe this every time it comes up...its funny..the emotion gets the most of you and you come off like righteous turds. Fact is, wont be legal till a certain age range has died off plain and simple.

Deal with City of Vernon and all their lobby money, good luck.

Thats my postion.
"peace"

edit - You should see the Fed grow warehouse in downtown LA. 90,000 sqft...and wonder why they shut down dispenses? If its " legal", its all Government run. Sounds great? LOL Play their hand for them boys lol

Oh boo hoo get over yourself. I'm tired of hearing that excuse "do you really think these bills will change anything"

The short and extremely obvious answer is of course they would. It's called changing the freakin law, it's called progression. It's called gaining freedom of personal rights. Quite frankly I don't give a damn if the government and corporations take advantage of it. As long as people aren't going to jail over so fucking what man, does that really take precedence over our personal rights?

Either you do, or you don't believe people should be thrown in prison over smoking cannabis. There really is no middle ground. You can make excuses for not voting for the bills all you want but it's really you just not giving a fuck about anyone else.

To say only sick people deserve to smoke cannabis legally is messed up. Sure we definitely take priority, but NOBODY should be incarcerated over it. And have you considered they're people who are severely depressed and use cannabis to better their quality of life? You don't need cancer to benefit greatly from this great medicine.
