Drug Test I need advice...

My first qestion would be; WHY???
And while they answer that - start sending out your resume.
I hope you are not happy working there, because something tells me your about to be screwed.
We are assuming you are not in a MMJ state and in possession of a valid MMJ endorsement.
If that's true - they are asking you to prove that you are under the influence - and that is never a good idea.

CAUTION - - BLUNT ANSWER: yea from what i've heard in the past (from managers/employers) that basically means you've been slacking off or acting strange and they need proof that its drug related before they fire you so their ass is covered legally.

refuse that unless they give every single employee (boss and all managers too) the exact same test; they may have some way to drug test an individual employee but you should make them legally prove it don't just agree to that shit.
might be able to delay for at least long enough to get a nice head wax going on. FOR REAL.

i have cheated PO drug tests successfully and dozens of employment drug tests - i didn't accept the "it cant be done" answer but just know that you are doing that at your own risk.

You are screwed... I dont want to be a wet blanket here, but the hair test can go back up to a year. Shaving your head, bleaching it, special shampoos - all gimmicks.
If you have no hair on your head, then it comes from your nuts, pits, ass crack etc...
Like others have said - get your resume dusted off and find another job while you still have one.

I wonder what the outcome was?
I was searching around today because I'm faced with a possible hair test in the future so I'm preparing. From everything I've gathered it appears .5 inches per month so assuming you don't have real long hair and can cut it to the length you want the detection period is basically 90 days. They ask for 1.5 inches apparently.
The answer I've been searching for is when does the metabolites stop depositing in the hair. It sounds like the answer is when you can piss clean plus a possible week so all the dirty hair is above the scalp. There are a lot of discussions on the internet but no hard answers. The other answer I've run across is when the blood is clean plus a possible week.
The good news for me is I tested clean today using a test strip and I'm only 7 days clean. I'm a heavy daily smoker of my own bud and hash so I'm kind of surprised. I'm thin though and I work out 4-5 times a week regularly and eat a healthy diet as well as drink lots of fluids. I'll continue to test over the next several days to make sure. My plan is to give it a week and then just shave my head and wait until it grows back to about an inch before applying for the job I'm gunning for.
I also found this following quote in the FAQ on Hair Confirm's website that I found interesting.
In the case where a long term THC use is present (like medical marijuana) sometimes the individual’s body can create a masking agent that would hinder the marijuana in a drug test.
Wouldn't that be something if I could pass a hair test because I smoke a lot of pot!

This works every time...My friend works in a forensic lab showed me how...I passed 8 hair tests Never failed.
1. Strip hair with vinegar..Leave in and let it saturate into the hair for about ten minutes. "Dont Rinse Out"....Oh yea watch your eyes the crap burns like doo doo.
2. Should told you this first...But you will need to buy a bottle Clean & Clear Deep Cleaning astringent...It's for pimples and acne....You will need to put that in your hair while the vinegar still there. You will feel a burning sensation. Masage into the scalp for about 5minutes. What happens is it cleans while the vinegar has your pores open
3. Ok now as crazy as this crap sounds but you will need Tide laundry detergent.
Powder or liquid it doesn't matter. Wash your hair with it and rinse thoroughly with warm water. Please dont get the Tide in your eyes..keep eyes close shut . Tide has the best cleaning agent of all detergents.
4. Now just use your favorite aloe (moisturizing shampoo).....Any kind you want to use.
5. Do that four step process the day of your deadline

Keep a moist towel at hand in case you get some in your eyes and be able to do all this with your eyes tightly closed. You can't open them without getting them burned. I did mine over my kitchen sink.
2- Then with my hair still soaked with the vinegar I used a bottle of Clean & Clear astringent in the pinkish brown bottle. Scrub that in for ten minutes. Maccujo lists the cream. Use the liquid astringent. This strips the inside of the hair follicle.
3- Then wash it all out with Tide laundry detergent. Scrub good and brisk for about ten more minutes.
4- Then I used Paul Mitchel Clarifying Shampoo Three. This is a hair stripper that removes everything from your hair. I have a girlfriend who owns hair salons. She uses this to strip hair of everything before applying anything like color or conditioners.
Then I smoked me a big doobie on the way to my hair test. PASS!

Don't forget chest and/or armpit hair - if you have short hair they can/will go to another area to get samples that are long enough for testing.
You can wear a wig - the trick is to have a couple hundred-dollar bills just sticking out from under the edge of it.

I don't plan to go in with no hair. I'm shaving it off so I don't have to worry about it and I'll know everything is clean that is on my head. When it's an inch or so long then I'll be applying and going through the process. I have numerous family members that work there so I know that this length of hair is suitable. The family members are the only reason I will be able to get into this place as the union contract stipulates family members get the first shot. Thankfully my background and experience will allow me to pass all of the hands on testing required.
About 4 years ago I went through this same thing and tried the Maccujo method but it didn't work for me. I tested myself with a hair test kit sent to a lab a few times over a couple of months after doing this method a few different times. Dirty each time. The only thing that worked for me was time so I figured this time I'm not going to even bother with it.
The shitty thing was by the time I was clean the economy took a dive and the place I'm trying to get into had mass lay-offs. Well of course I went back to being dirty. lol So, I'm back at it again. The real problem is that this is the only high paying employer in the area I'm trying to move to and you only get one shot at it. If you fail you never get another chance so you have to be 100% clean because it's 0 tolerance. A friend of mine failed his test right out of high school about 18 years ago and he is still on the list of no hires.
It's a risky job still though because after the lay-offs they hair tested all people coming back and a lot of people got put on a 3 year probation random testing program. On your dime. Due to my plan and circumstances I only need the job to last me for a few years at the most so it's not a big deal. I just need to get my foot in the door.

Gotcha - didn't figure your plan was to go in with a shaved head, but thought I'd mention it since if you go in with an inch or less of hair and the testing instructions state that hair samples an inch and a half long are required, they MAY go to another area to collect that sample. I don't know about you, but my hair grows slooooow- it would be at least 3 months to grow an inch an a half. Don't even know if the inch and a half is any kind of a standard, I just saw it on an instruction sheet a while back.
