The GSC is fire, but they hype is pretty ridiculous it ain't that good. Just another top shelf strain and I def prefer OGs to GSC.

heres some cookies from my friends first run of her... He cut a bunch of clones off some mothers and tossed them in to fill space, so they didnt get proper veg after being cut back.

yea clubs are waxing on cookies right now....60-65 an 8th and 20 a gram, mostly because the growers are demanding top prices...
at least most clubs stock cheaper greenhouse and indoors as low as 50 a quarter oz sometimes....
theres cookies on the east coast but its mostly in hiphop circles being smoked for headstash...cant find it on the corner just yet lol but i hear there are good deals on the haze!

Picked me up a gsc clone from the local club today. I'm usually really wary of buying "flavor of the month" clones from clubs, but I've purchased a few clones from this club, including r-a-s-k-a-l og and dj short's blueberry, and they were the real deal. Time will tell if the gsc follows suit!!!

^^^^this. By the summer when the top cash croppers realize how much they can get exporting instead if wholesaling locally. To be honest people are gonna through lush on the end of gsc and its gonna be the hottest thing since....well kush Haha. I was talking about it on fb and my page went bananas!!!!!

good response Y4215 but i think u missed what I was really trying to say.
I uderstand that it takes time and effort to create these untested s1's and other "breeding work" that these new seed co's and hacks do, but I personally think that they should be priced appropriately for what they are and the work that was involved in making them.
As I said these "breeders" let someone else do literally 90% of the work for them, then call it there own because they crossed it to another forced hermi elite clone and are now putting out hermi prone seeds that people are now selling at the club near your house for the same price as the real GSC.
To assume that I meant every breeder has to trek the globe in search of genetics is wrong, but i do think that a little actual breeding is in order before you go selling your seeds to uneducated people who might need the help.
One incross or outcross is not enough for you to start charging 100$+ a pack for untested genetics no matter what elite clone u used. This type of "breeding" is doing nothing but damage to the cannabis species and is further bottlenecking genetics down to thier worst and can certainly lead to us seeing horrible recessive traits start to rear thier ugly heads like hermaphrodititsm and/or genetic mutations
Just a quick remeinder that the GSC cut iss made up of a bunch of genetics (as I said cheery pie and whatever og was used wwere already polyhybrids when the GSC breeder got to them) that SOMEONE had to collect, breed, select and work with in order to get what we have today, so yeah maybe everyone SHOULD go out there and collect some special genetics of thier own to work with.
just an idea, if u do try collecting genetics to breed with, try and select at least 1 thing that is not an elite clone and maybe one of those male plants Ive heard so much about lol I know its tough these days but trust me, there are more elites out there to be found in good ol' fashion cannabis breeding.

hmmm... I think it depends on if your trying to make a somewhat stable line, or just trying to find a keeper. I like to chuck pollen, look through the crazy range of pheno types, and find a keeper plant in the mix. I get what your sayin about the whole sellin for 100+ thing tho.
A the end of the day, the onus is on the consumer to do their research and make a decision.
IMO 100 bucks is nothing for a pack, if there is something good in there.
I like buying seeds though. The more choices I have, the better.

Perfect answer. And it seems like every time there is a debate over the definition of a 'breeder' or 'pollen chucker' or what exactly their job SHOULD entail, it always comes back to this very simple answer.
If you don't like poly hybrids, don't buy them. Don't like fems? Don't buy them. There are more than enough breeders available to please everyone. If not, then there is no pleasing you and you're probably not smoking enough. Variety if the spice of life, folks. Buy em if you want em, move on if you don't. But don't use the internet to fight about it.
