just got a new 150hps bulb at homedepot, i may run a 150hps verse some eqaul wattage 65 watt cfls, or rather 3 of them at 195 watts, but not until summer. ill keep u guys posted.

why i cropped them this way.
i didnt want to top them i like maincolas .

darkvade420@ i think the innernodes are this way because they
were the first four week under clf 23 watts coolwhite .
coolwhite gives short nodes .

K+ WB, that is a very fun looking garden you have there buddy. Awesome job with the 150w, SOG is the way to go with a 150 or any light, but its almost priority on the smaller HIDs.

Hey thanks for the reply i was pretty sure thats whats going on with me.I keep vegging with my hps cause its more light output but so far i have my next 3 clones under 2 27w 5500k cfls.im hoping the 5500k will kep them as tight as the 6500k?

here is my clone its 8 inches high and 12x12 width just put it into flower 4 days ago.never grown like this before anytips ?should i cut fan leaves now or later or not at all i also have 2 smaller plants in with it in a 2x2 cab w/ 150w last run with this plant i grew it 4 feet but lower nodes didnt do much so im tring to get more tops should i loli pop this 8 inch plant?

This is the whole cab im still working on with all 3 plants the 2 in the back are 21 days flower the one on the left back is my bonsi attempt the back right is some clone i got from the store i kinda think its some crap genetics but we will soon see.

5500k is ok to keep em short 4000k is the best colour for growing
short bushy plants.
and i never remove any leaves in this stage .
when they are flowering you can remove the lower popcorn
and thieves .
you have nice healthy plants .
nice big containers of soil you use .
how many litres are they?

nice looking ladies everyone! today is Day 14 of 12/12 in my cab, and gotta say everything is looking and smelling wonderful! these ladies are looking real healthy. i do have some bad news though, my White Fire Og turned out to be a male he is now outside waiting for his pollen to be ready. anyways, on with the the ladies

also my SCrOG has been doing some serious work on the SFV(back left) and Pure Kush(front right) ladies.

Looks like the PK lady wants to outgrow my space ..lol..


i got a thermometer and hygrometer my temps stay at 24-27 degrees C*. and RH at 45-50%. is this ideal for flowering ?
im also trying to start dedsigning a cab for my 150,(perpetual style/ngb) i think thats what that style of cab is called. so if anyone has any ideas feel free to post them up !

Thanks wb- Them girls are in 2 differnt sized pots 2 of them are in 2 gallon and one in a 4 gallon all square pots.

..just another 150 user here with one of my grows [documented] consisting of 1 malawi gold lady:



she was growing outdoors for almost half of a year but the summertime ended up and she could not finish so i brought her inside.
..plant started to have some problems and the light intensity should`ve been twice as strong too.. for that bush..
and since it was messed up time in my life i just couldn`t give enough time and love the plant needed so i harvested her early..
total growth/flower period was `bout 8 months long..

curious if anyone is using the floralux 150 unit? and if so does it get very hot?

Mmm, the 150 doesn't get too hot. With proper ventilation its easy to keep the little 150 cool.

im running 2 65watt cfls now and want to switch to the 150. just debating on the floralux 150(all in one unit) or an htg 150 with remote ballast that i will have to just hang the bulb because the htg reflector is to big for my set up.
