Once You Go Organic You CAN'T Go Back

I have TRIED to make the transition over to organic a couple times over the last few years. If I saw a deficiency I immediately just switched to my normal nutes just because I don't want to "test" for a few months when I can be growing.

As I sit here, I have plenty of bud that was grown amazing BUT it wasn't 100% organic and that just bugs the hell out of me.

What I am realizing is that I need to GET RID OF my chem nutes completely so I don't have a fall back plan and MAKE MYSELF get this 100% organic soil growing down.
:thank you:

a plant with proper microbiology in its rhizosphere is superior to one without

sterile growing is for storm troopers in space ships

Totally agree with you bro! Once the switch is fully made, its a lot easier, a lot more rewarding, and a lot cheaper

:)

It's like you are really growing something, and not force feeding the plants with cockmeat sandwiches  hahaha

It's also good for the environment ;)

Good luck and take it easy bro!

Yup,

I have another buddy who is still chem growing so I will just give him my chem nutes. He will be happy for sure AND it never hurts to get some growers karma. I just have to forget how much that shit was costing me because at least NOW I won't have to deal with it.

Now onto yields, flavors etc from organic to chemically grown. I don't care if I lose any of it to be honest. It will be healthier for me and I am not flipping my shit, it is all 100% personal meds and the only thing that I care about is the quality of the bud and how could anything grown in chemicals ever compare to organic no matter how much you flush which btw is usually with MORE chems go figure lol.

I will soon see the pros and cons indeed

You Cannot short cut quality, and when you care about quality the ORGANIC is whats up

Switch, its easy as pie. Good luck, and may I rec having:

Earth Worm Castings
Alaska Humic Compost
High N guano
High P guano
Liquid kelp
Earth Juice Microblast
An organic rooting compound (usually a B vitamin source if you can)
Bene Bacteria Powder(s)
Neem
Pyrethroid bomb *(not really organic say some, but last ditch)

Taste and smell is like night and day with organics versus not organic.

And when you smoke 100% organic you dont get any "hangover" what so ever the day after. Priceless.

And when you grow organic you get the chance to say " Dont panic, its organic". Its the little things guys :)

going organic is very easy. earthworm castings, some bat guano, a little perlite, some magnesium, and there ya go!!

you just need to learn to read the plants, and adjust things as you GrOw.

Making the switch should not be hard. What can we (as a community) do to help you?

I do micro organic/living soil, 1L containers. I switched from Dyna Gro nutes and haven't looked back.

Go for it, you will be satisfied with the results!

Welcome to the wonderful world of organics. I like to take a good quality potting soil and amend with Some guano, worm castings and mag salts. Make a big batch moisten and then I let it sit covered for a few months (minimum) in a big tupperware container. I'm using soil I mixed over 6 months ago right now. This allows the organics to mature and keeps it from being too hot. I grow very sativa leaning genetics, mostly...so usually a couple of re pots in the same high quality organic soil. During growth, very little additional nutes are needed. I usually only need to feed once or twice with low strength organic teas and some black strap molasses. If it gets a little hungry at the end, so be it. Plants aren't supposed to be perfectly dark green at harvest. The flush is in the rainbow of colors that you see in nearly harvested plants.

Ask lots of questions. There are some seriously knowledgeable people here. Best Luck!

I want ak 47 so badly ^^^^^ Where did you get your strain of AK? Gosh that is a serious plant and one of many I've seen lately. I'm convinced about AK now!

Nice plant indeed. I love ak's and the crosses of them. I am running with some dr earth soil that I got for $13 a bag and it comes with a ton of great organic stuff already in it. I want to see how well this soil can feed my veg girls to gauge the amount in it and go from there I suppose.

I am going to start making a super soil as well once all my ammendments come in. I got various things and will let it sit in a big tub for 2 months or so before using it. I actually am going to have several tubs that I am going to be putting together.

I want to make a veg soil mix and a flower soil mix and then play with some others strength wise to test things out etc.

I know there is a huge wealth of information here so I am stoked to keep reading and growing organics.

Since you had problems before you should just follow one of the Organics for Beginners recipes - they are fail proof.

Eventually the organic ways will start popping up into other aspects of your life, that is when you know you will never go back!
