Those ECSD look out of this world. A lot of the people who deal Sour Diesel around Boston seem to use Rez Sour D IBL seeds and have so many phenos that don't even compare to the actual ECSD. The high on a lot of the rez phenos drops off after 30-45 minutes - although there are some killer phenos to be found in his SD beans. I wish the true ECSD would make an appearance more often...

"It'd be like taking the two sexiest lesbians in the world to makeup the prettiest child"...Exactamundo! Let's hope that's the case, Otto.
I believe the integrity of the genes stays the same, he just becomes the giver instead of the receiver, which allows the sexy love fest described above.:) And yup, GC=GreenCrack aka Cush.

I will say, it is pretty fun watching it take place. I've run her so many times as a Female, that as a Male she's really feels like a stranger.

You sure can't hate a tree! I have several I'm taking down now, I might be having one of the most interesting harvests of all time.Everything coming in 2-3 days apart.I'm starting with this Strawberry Durban.I was very sceptical of these plants around day 45, I wanted to cry and then they just started churning out the craziest most unusual flowers, some big some small but all just killah. This stuff produces a ton of real nice trim.

Chaco brother - that strawberry Durban is gorgeous! I never seen a pic of yours where the calyxes aren't busting out like that.. So full! Does it still maintain that heavy mint smell? Or does the strawberry mellow it out / over power it? Man that's something nice to have around, don't let that cut go!

A friend of mine told me it smelled like an old peoples shop where they sell candles and candy. He also said to save him some. Its very peculiar, the cuts I took finished as fast as the original moms. They look like Swazi from the old Sensi catalog but I honestly don't know what a "real" Durban" or "Swazi" grows or smells like, its a vague memory from the year Johnny Marr left The Smiths...I better grab my scissors!:)

Agreed, it totally blows! I had to shoot a 100lb scrubber through my roof to vent the heat, I can't run my a/c now, but I could, damnit! It's a great deal more work when the weather is so variable, I have 15 diff machines to check right before I split, miss one and the shows over...Still, we're turning out some gravy, this is my best Lucifer, she's starting to fade but wow what a plant, it smells like cocaine.Thats a first!

Yip yip yip, this weather has been messing up my F room ! Well not really, since I took care of the needed ducting once temps shot up a couple days ago. But on that really warm day I woke up to temps approaching 80* in there.. Wasn't expecting to see that until late march.

Woooohooo!! Just got selected as a tester for House of Loves 'OG13', super excited & grateful! Their gear looks so nice, I been checkin into them a lot lately, can't wait to see how this turns out. Big thanks to HoL crew!

Temps to Cold?

Temps to Cold?

Hey all,

@TB Gardens - Congrats on those beans, should be a great grow out for sure!! Its nice that based on yours plus other grow logs, they will decide to add them to their product list or scratch it. good luck!

Daytime temps average 64* F (Range: 58.3* - 69.2*)
Nightime temps average 55* F (Range 52.6* - 62.2*)

  • Plants seem to be doing fine.... but its my first grow
  • Buds took 3 weeks to put out more than 3-4 pistils per budsite
  • Been 4 weeks and no real bud development - not like other new england growers like chaco/tacoma look after 4 weeks
  • Grew from clones, veged for around 4 weeks

FIRST Q: Do these low temps have a negative effect? if so, can you explain the temps?

SECOND Q: Best practices/tips to "force" plants to start flowering fast and hard during the transition from veg->bud?

Cheers, Representing the MA crew!

hey bude - your temps are too cold brotha! you gotta jump those up atleast 10* for night & day temps. in my experience, those cold temps are really going to slow your growth. im no expert, but im assuming your slow transition to flower is related to your cold temps. what kind of light are you running tho?
