Hi mate

is that all the stretch you got mate i got double and a bit iirc it was the tallest of them all in the last run and she was one of the smallest in this time and shes bigger than the psychosis and the suspect psycho d now
gunna get around 7 main colas from it just hope there as fat as last time lol

how many are you running next mate and will you be topping at all?

i think the co2 is a little more complex to manual spraying mate they can only absorb so much and you can over do it also i think your room needs to be really dialled in to achieve best results

Peace

Cheers pal.All food for thought... [Have to consider expense as well.sighhh!]

The reason im wanting co2 is because next grow im gonna flower 100% Blue Meanie [on the table anyway].This strain ive found stretches only a "tiny bit" when flowered something like only a 1/4 1/2 at the most so im gonna grow it a few feet nxt time.If within say 3 weeks [with the gas] ive got to the desired height ill be happy. Yeah i could deal with 7/8 stone [moved the patio doors into the garage lol,on MY TODD!].+No rush is there.Im gonna get the 30lb and a co2 regulator and manually spray for 15 mins of each hour i reckon.. Cus i can give 'em 24/7 care. [for a few wks anyway.Whilst in vegge].
The mad 4/5x+ stretch of the chem d tho' I DONT need gas for :).

thx 4 input bud.appreciated.

yea bud thats all i got and the same this time.Another thing, the bm write up buff found said [as yourself did] the bm's got rockhard buds.DUDE i didnt say out but mine were soft & spongy! Price to pay for using a single 600w 'spose [not aircooled].LOL one of the nellys [cxnl] is growing like the chem dog!.

[no bud i wont be topping the bm.just removing a few lower branches is all.100% bm on the table ltr.(18)]

The AIR is 300 ppm already.1500 ppm is the required level...........! i see no prob with MANUAL spraying m8,given the circumstances ive already talked about.

spongy nugs is more often wrong feeding or not letting the plant go long enough,,,

its just the efficiency considering the dissipation of the co2 and that it is best when held at a set level rather than going too high all of a sudden then it dropping away altogether after 30-40 mins,

i say save the money from that manual regulator and wait until you have the cash for a proper system then you will properly see the benefits,,

and co2 is really not that great if your not a shit hot grower so unless you think you have no other factors to correct in your grow then just wait and do it properly or you'l just be wasting time effort and money doing something the wrong way,,

lol. No indicATION of wrong feeding Mush!...:) [Imo light intensity plays a MUCH MORE important role than "enhanced plant development via nutes". bud.For that..]

You spray for 15mins of each hour.Im sure a correct level could be obtained through trail & error.
ANYWAY theres nowt wrong with them [non-solenoid] £15 reg's from Taiwan! :D.

'LARGE.Yeah bm does stretch more that 1/4-1/2! you got me lookin' last night &^%^*!... STILL. Not much compared to the dog d.

Itz all about speed FACTOR blue..

I'll tell you what is MAD. yo. Having different strains flowering on a nft table. Keep sayin' i shouldnt do it.but keep on doin' it.AS I SAY, 100% bm nxt time tho'... all cool.

adios.e.

Fill the table up mate with the meanie and top a row see what difference you get its looking good for me but its i lil early to tell yet

i do a vigorous chop mate seems to work better for me

Grow to around 8" and literally chop in half leaving 4 shoots those will then be your colas

peace

[On a serious note of course co2's needed.]

Well thx lost-in-a-sea.That place is cool.Lol someguy who was at the counter was DEFFO a grower :bigeye:. He no doubt thought the same here.:D

I got the 2x bottles from them for just over £80. Refill's cheap and only 30 mile from my house.Awesome.
Im awaiting a partial refund from "Scouse land" as there's was £10 dearer and for only ONE bottle too.Via ebay.

BTW.Reassuring to realise we weren't being followed on leaving like i hear HAS happened.

thx m8.Good advice.

I just dont see the point in paying £140+ [ebay] for a device that "goes" "punch in the size of your room and it does the rest" [As brilliant as that is]. If i was giving demonstrations of co2 in various grow houses it'd be ideal. But im not My room size is [ltr] PERMANENTLY! lol.

On the side of the bottle it says: Always keep cylinder in a cool area.

Ive seen co2 bottles kept in the grow area so must be ok with grow room temps. But not exactly cool is it!

It wont blow up E, but it will suffocate the life out of ya if things go wrong.
Looking forward to your feedback about its benifits, but i understand that you can cope with higher temps when using it.

Yea thats right.. Does for the VEGGEING plant Like what Nitous Oxide does for cars.Poisonous to roots i hear. Hmmn roots and NFT.. we'll see.. [quite exposed] I've also heard "it lessens potency" if used during flower. Lol the things you hear...

Lost-in-a-sea you'll know about this wont you ? "On the side of the bottle it says: Always keep cylinder in a cool area". ?

If not ok i can always google it.In this weather my temps never really get above 75f !

cheers.

you could smoke all you like around it so long as you know that you arent overdosing the area,, ie ppm over 2000,,,

that is the beauty of having a system where you can set the amount it releases you arent wasting any for no reason and can be sure the whole place isnt just filling up with it,,

my grow areas have always been well ventilated to the outside so i never could have a problem with it building up,,

you wont have a problem at that temperature evian mate,, i know 20-30c is fine because ive grown right through summer with it so any lower is no problem obviously,,

co2 is actually good for roots,, especially fine roots and causes a faster root turnover,, sequestering carbon into the soil as well,,

and co2 does make plants less susceptable to stress,, including heat stress but remember it heats the grow area up as well,,

I recieved this from hollandhydroponics ask an expert:

I would not advise you to keep a CO2 bottle in your grow room. The pressure of the gas inside the canister increases greatly with temperature, and you should never allow the bottle to be in a space with a temperature above 27 degrees centigrade (80 degrees Fahrenheit). If the pressure becomes too great your regulator should release the gas from the safety valve, which is not disastrous but will be a waste of money! There is however a possibility that the regulator could fail to release the pressure, which would result in the regulator being blown off the canister completely, potentially causing serious damage in your grow room.

For me the heat went to 27-28c.

yeah maybe it is too high then,,

the expansion and increase in pressure is huge with every degree,,

cant you store the bottle and run the co2 line from somewhere cooler?

probably get away with it,, i said up to 30 is fine but thinking about it im not sure it ever got quite that high but it definitely got above 25 alot,,

i presume thats just the 10 litre bottles you are using ?

at least if it blows lol it wont be like a 20 or 30 litre,, that would make one hell of a noise though shooting accross the room,,

i would imagine whatever the ambiant temperature is hitting, the co2 bottle will be at least a few degrees cooler,,:dunno:

Id seen bottles kept in the growroom before so that combined with what you said about temps AND realizing that the gas would be released often left me fairly assured over the saftey issues.

I feel ASSURED now ive gone through a couple of bottles with no explosions anyway.:D

Btw.YES must be the co2 in gas form.. Because ive been using Liquid Oxygen for years.
