If the borg are not to bad you could let them go. But I would spray now and kill some before they lay new eggs, then hit them more completely when you defoliate. Just knock them down some now and really hit them later.
My thoughts exactly! Thanks for the affirmation bro!

If you can a day or two before you sray for the borg turn the temp up to hatch the eggs faster. Then you can get more of them sprayed at one time instead of letting them hatch over a longer time frame.

Stretch has officially stopped at 48" :-( wanted 60", but now I can veg appropriately... I plucked the largest fan leaves off the USD and one Chocolope last night, and I will be plucking the rest over the next few days.
I managed to put my other 4 ECSD in veg the night before last. I will be rebuilding my veg/mother/clone area in the next few months. I need to have at least 12 plants in veg, plus mothers, which has caused space issues...
I will post some pics later tonight.

Started the flush on the Goosh yesterday morning with RO water and a clearing solution. I plan on chopping Sunday night before lights go on.

Just started the 5th week of flower. The diesels are filling in nicely, but the stunted chocolope have nice buds stacking up.

The diesels are a little behind the chocolope as far as bud production goes, but the screens are twice as full...

Hell yah those plants in the screen are nutty big, shit looks dope. Regarding the PM don't know exactly what your using I didn't read back far enough but if you don't have it already take a ride down to Home depot and pick up a bottle of sprecctracide Immunox not immunox plus just plain old immunox, spray in veg and right when you flip haven't had pm problem in years. Best 11 doll hairs you'll ever spend. Killer hydro system Btw

I have about 24 hours to decide how I want to trim/dry this first round. Last run I just hung everything from coat hangers, but is considering trying out a hanging drying rack. I prefer to do a wet trim, I just find it so much easier, so the racks would be ideal for that. Hanging up 6 plants untrimmed will take up valuable real estate as well, whereas, I could hang the rack above my res which is dead space anyway.
What is your experience with the drying racks?

IMO I chop all big fans sticking out and then hang for about 5-6 days then dry trim, I've found when you leeave the little leaves sticking out of the bud and let them wrap it cures it, the smell it def way stronger dry trim then wet, if you wet trims and over dry or under dry with sum strains you'll be fighting just to get the smell out I don't ever deal with that when I dry trim, and there is a different in overall look. When you dry trim the leaves covering the bud conserves the look and makes the trich heads more flamboyant and gives it way better bag appeal. But its all strain dependent real skinnky leafy sativa strains can be a bitch to dry trim and come out looking wylee. That's just my 2 cent

Thanks for stopping by and the feedback concerning PM. I might look into that for preventative measures in the future. I got some organic fungicide that is safe to spray up til harvest, mixed a gallon up, and sprayed both donuts, and not a single trace of PM since then. I think the PM in the first place was a fluke due to the 4 day power outage, and barring that, I don't see myself having issues with PM normally. My room is totally sealed, my intakes have filters on them, and my temps stay between 65-75.
Thanks for the props on the DIY hydro system, I love it!

Definitely something to chew on. This round is a pure Indica, and it is known for being very "gooey", all the bud leaves are covered in trichomes all the way to the tips. I already defoliated 95% of the fan leaves and won't have much of a trim either way. I will likely compromise and trim all the leaves without trichomes wet, then see what needs to be trimmed after they dry.
I would really like to know what peoples experiences with the drying racks vs hanging are...

Arm....ALL my med head gro-bro`s on da left coast with production rooms use da collapsible mesh hangin racks cuz just like vert growin , yas can dry more in a smaller amount of sq/cu ftg so more can be processed .....

Most all use dehuey`s and air exchange twice per min till they get the proper "snap" from the stems round 60-62% RH and then it`s on to the burping/finishing/let`s go ta market process....

Like that goosh....Respect...looks like good arthritis and insomnia meds.....

Thanks for the update Bro....

Peace....Freds....... :ying:......

I visit my room at least twice a day, unless I am out of town, and can turn the bud twice a day. Any other feedback?

I love my drying rack........so flipping tired of coat hangers falling off racks ....etc.......I just use the drying rack and turn the buds every day ( or Gro-bro can)....absolutely love em!
