there's allot involved building a safe under ground structure. with that size you need a bobcat to dig that. not a good idea go with a few larger plants or numbers next outdoor season

6x6x9 would be around 25000lbs of soil to be removed. Don't really think it
can be done by hand. (It gets much harder after the the first 3 feet)
You'd need a backhoe and somewhere to get rid of the soil. Also, if you
get into the water table, your sunk. Better to build a camo shed in the forest
and run power to that...

As a person who tried to grow at my parents house (while getting caught by them multiple times) its really not worth it. The last time my mom said to me, "Just wait till you move out of OUR HOUSE. If anything goes wrong here its not going to fall on you it will fall on your father and I." That really hit me. I have always been willing to risk my own freedom for what I believe in, but never anyone else's.

Like you said, just go big next summer. Then use some of that harvest to get into your own place. Then setup proper. You got it son.

dont do it. wait till you get out of your parents house before you grow. It'll help you feel less paranoid, and it probably wont upset your parents as much when they find out.

i like the idea of an underground grow bunker, just needs to be on your own land, then that shit will rock. what ever happened to the guy who was digging out a room under his house?

anyway a secret bunker with a hidden way in would be so cool, but you will have to go for a sealed room as the exhausting hot air would be impossible to keep hidden, while the air exchange from an air conditioner is a lot less in volume easier to have that air gently wafting up through a pile of wood or something to hide the vent. but the one thing you will have is a hell of a lot of work to get to the point when you can put the first seed in earth. hehe.......

Sounds like the CannaBunkerMan is still at it. If you go down a few posts in this thread, it also links to his construction project...pretty mindboggling stuff.

I've got a buddy that buried a 20ft shipping container with a piece of corrugated drain pipe sticking out of it for access. The roof collapsed and had to be shored up with 4x4s. Getting air in and out required tons of duct work. I never felt safe down there and avoided going over.

I gave him this advice before he dug his hole: Learn how to grow before you design and build something with such a commitment. He abandoned his bunker and is now using a portion of his garage because he didn't think about the little difficulties like hauling 10 gallons of water, bags of soil down a ladder.

Start small, grow some plants in a small cabinet. Concentrate on bringing a small crop to fruition. Growing indoors isn't the same as an outdoor grow. Tryng to hide a stadium light, the fans and other environmental equipment without a big budget is asking for disaster and even worse, and empty baggie at the end of the day.

It's been done here already, correctly I might add, by cannabunkerman.Stick to the 40$ eighths, you brainiac.

Like may have said-you are leaving all the liability with the owners/parents-not cool especially without their knowledge and consent. They have too much to lose if you go ahead.

In the future-burying a pre -cast concrete cistern is a fast way to get one going-of course hard to do that without scrutiny and lots of cash.I saw one that was built under a garage( actually used as a cistern) with a nice little 18"x 18" access slab surrounded by more patio stones( same size) for camouflage.

I dunno.
I am not very coherent now so bear with me, although I did just spell that word correctly.
Without reading any but the first message, I have thought of it myself. I have a lot of free time and often dreamed of rooms under the foundation of the basement, or rooms under or within rooms, or tunnels that went back underneath a banking behind the house. I don't know if it is crazy or not but seems way not worth the effort, unless one was to grow like 10 KW plus which I don't think I would do anytime soon. good luck whatever you choose to do!
