Strain to increase appetite??

Hey i just got a quick question to my fellow growers,

I have problems eating i am never really hungry. I eat because i have to i get no pleasure out of it. I asked my doctor to help but all they say is i got to stop smoking, which i don't see happening.

I want to know what strains people recomend to increase appetite?

Mr Nice always liked the look of his seeds, i seen him at Glastonbury festival befor.


I want something not to strong, but amazing taste, a nice day time smoke something that make's you think and hungry!!!!! Might be asking abit much but there is a lot of experiance here, just intrested in what you all think?

UBC Chemo, says it was specially developed by the University of B.C for appetite stimulation of chemotherapy patients.

It's a Canadian strain so that is the best place to look.

I grew out some F13 and it induced my hunger like none other. I had to get rid of it though because I don't really have the proper odor control and the thing stunk to high heavens even as a small stump. Not only that but I absolutely hate hunger inducing strains because my appetite is already funny. It may not be a daytime, (even though the description of the strain claims it as a daytime sativa buzz) but out of everything I ever grew it'd be in the top 3 for stimulating appetite. I could eat a full course meal, smoke some of the F13 and an hour later I'm ready for another plate.

Thank for all the great feed back, there are some great looking stains that have been listed i have not heard of going to take some great experimenting.

But i dont have a lot of space, can any other people back up any of these strains. So far the UBC Chemo is winnig and really does sound good. Is it the best?

What a lovely looking sativa definatly something i would like to give a go, nice smoke report sounds like a really special strain.

I have smoked a lot of indca domiant strain but never had much sucsess with the hunger.

I second the UBC Chemo. This was the first strain I ever grew because it was specifically developed for nausea. It's very strong, and can be a bit heady at first, but after an hour a ravenous hunger sets in.

BC Bud Depot has the closest version to the original in seed form.

As i said earlier looks great any grow report?

Well I don't have any pictures because at the time I had no reason to take them. But I got my F-13 from DJ Short, I can only share my experience and out of 7 seeds three didn't make it, one turned hermie (was male, turned female then made final switch to male), one was a male and the other two were similar females. Out of everything in my garden the two females I got were the slowest to grow and it's prone to that christmas tree structure, not really a plant that likes to branch out. At least my phenos weren't. If you didn't top, they didn't branch out. Very strong skunk odor mixed with an earthy smell, it basically tasted how it smelled. Reminded me of alot of mid I used to buy (smell and taste). The buzz wasn't a powerful high or stone, it was a mild stone at best and the only thing that stood out about it to me was the fact that it stimulated my appetite so much. You might get something different, maybe I just got bad phenos, I'm not sure what happened but I purchased it because of the description, particularly the line about "Not for the couch-lock crowd, this heady sativa is for those who truly enjoy its stimulating yet comfortable appeal. A real day-brightener." It wasn't though. You probably won't go for these but I just wanted to share my experience because as I said before the appetite stimulation was very extreme in my opinion.

Its sounds like just a nice weed to get threw the day and eat lots I want to try every strain and hopefully one day i will have the space to be able to grow all these strains

Just found this sounds intreasting too. G13-IX (Gypsy Nirvana Collection)

G13-IX has shown remarkable qualities for muscle relaxation and appetite stimulation.

Has anyone tried it?
There are too many great genetic out there

I have made some desicions, for this grow i am going to try G13 IX - GNC, Orisha XL - MAN, G13 sour Diesel Haze - REZ.

Last night my wife broke out a jar that hadn't been out in a 'lil while. Maple Leaf Indica by Sensi Seeds. I ate half the house. Not couchlock, great buzz, resin heads aplenty, smell is fantastic. Good luck with your search.

It's been a long time since I've experienced this, but I grew out some Northern Lights #5 last summer and, along with knocking you out, this stuff gives MAJOR munchies. As in "bottomless pit" kinda munchies.
