First things first, I finally met Josey Wales (I am on the left)

Well I took the 2 USD mothers tonight HOLY COw is this shit potent, I kinda was rubbing the finger hash on my fingers and nibbled a VERY little off...zoooooom to the MOON so relaxing WOW!

My photo taking sucks because the plants are sooo tall I had to hold with one hand and shoot with the other, kinda like spanking the monkey with a real large centerfold LOL

Macro's oh yes it has some real purple hues to it also and the smell is SOO good!

I JUST tonight (like Architect of Destruction AOD) bought a USB Microscope to take some killer close up's better,

Not even 3 weeks in flower and the USD has stretched from 24" to 44", and still putting on an inch a day. I am hoping for 55"-60" by the time stretch is done in 7-10 days. I did veg for 45+ days (have to check my notes), but I needed to in order to get them to fill the 5' screens...

Mega, congrats on the harvest bro. It looks frosty and the colors came out nice. As it gets colder the purple really comes out nice. Now, please take this as constructive criticism... You can get your USD buds bigger. This one was stunted from russet mites, but is still making a nice recovery.

BTW those 2 plants were Mom's that were chopped to pieces, then we just stuck in the flower room so they were not trained or defoliated for a top yielding plant ...I HOPE those buds get bigger, was not going to say anything but I was like YIKES low yielder!

Bro, this is from my first time growing her...

idk what caused the small buds... You said you had Cal/mag issues, and those stems are redder than the devils dick... lol... Remember earlier in the grow when you had an EC of like 3? Keep it at 1.2-1.5, and you should be good. Less Cal/Mag, cause she's a sativa, not an indica whore-ass ChemD.

The first pic I showed you was my most recent USD mom, however I trimmed the shit out of her to create single branch colas.

Bobble - Well I'm pushing as MUCH Cal-Mag as I can my ppm's are at 760 last feeding? Should I increase it more? I don't have the PPM to EC chart here it's downstairs and I'm too damn lazy to go look..heheh

Also those plants I took the pictures of are just the TWO MOMS that were really treated badly...they were hit with several feedings of well over 3 EC, the rest of the room is following a strict regime that we have developed and I have a chart that converts PPM --- EC from Arminus so I am staying between 1.2-1.5 EC and holding that range very carefully. My node structure is looking good a "little" wider than I would like but I hope they will fill in like the T-Haze did ( it actually showed very similar characteristics to the USD at this stage but w/o the amazing stretch)

Castout - Well thats a loaded questions. Let me tell you what I did. ONce I found ICmag ....and THEN I found the vertical section it was like a light turned on in my head and I KNEW I was going vertical after growing for about 1.5 years horizontal. I just needed to maximize my space available to get larger yields (and to be frank more $$$). I've never made any bones about it...I'm more of a commercial grower.

NOW once I found the "Vertical Section" I literally ready everything I could for about 2 months, started asking some questions and made notes of what was going to e required. MONTHS OF READING...before I moved anything. You can jump into the deep end but more and more the smart 1st timers read, develop a system or design that works for THEIR SPACE, then bring that plan to the vert section, we review it and make suggestions (NO ONE here is going to tell you exactly what YOU need for YOUR space.....you kinda got to figure it out, THAT's why I suggest reading so much before you move anything)

Now once I decided I wanted to do a stadium grow, I designed the space, square (it originally only had 2 shelves it now has 3), designed my exhaust and intake system (VERY important quit possibly one of the KEY components to success), we tried a drip system (total fucking disaster) so now we hand water 80 #2 smarties, choose Smartpots to hold the individual plants, (I originally had #3 smarties now I do it all in #2's for higher plant count which equals larger yield). Lighting is simply an equation; 50 Watts per square feet...This is a MUST! For my area I run 3,200 watts and I am already planning a new design this spring, I am going to do Bobbleheads patented Bobblepods (v-I have no idea which rev he is on), you should read his sticky at the top of the section, Arminus has a very elegant design with his weed doughnuts and DWC buckets which I think he is going to absolutely KILL with, Lawloy (Damn I miss that guy) had some of the most off the hook stadium grows, Anti has a design that I don;t even know how to describe other than GENIUS! (His thread is stickied at the top also), you will be overwhelmed with idea;s, ohh HOW could I forget our O.E. (Original Einstein) Heath Robinson, do a search on Google for him and read everything he designed, he is the person who really got me totally passionate and excited about vertical systems and is simply a flipping genius! I even have some beans of his Black Rose I am planning on growing out later this year, I had to postpone it due to some upcoming surgery.

Here is a simply suggestion for you; Read through as many grow journals here in the vert sections, look at as many designs as possible THEN look at your budget, grow space, ventilation options, heat,cold, humidity (in your area for the last three),do you want/need a veg area? etc...then try and match a vertical design that;

1) Meets your budgetary limits (mine is ghetto cheap but so is Bobble's as long as your handy with building and setting up drip systems)

2) Work for your available grow space

3) You can easily control your Environmental Climate parameters.

4) Do not be afraid to ask us in the vertical section questions (like you just did)

And remember ...we got your back bro. We have ALL made mistakes, I have lost over 50% of my last two runs due to stupid mistakes or issues outside of my controls, or just being plain lazy in the last issue with "light peakage". It is NOT easy as some think but when you get a room dialed in you can really then fine tune and see some incredible returns. I regularly get 4-5 lbs every 8-11 weeks depending on the strains I run, and I think I might be taking that UP a notch this next run. BUT as Bobble says, "Don't count your chickens before they hatch" I just try to develop the BEST, highest quality medicine for my friends and patients and clients THEN I work on yields next.

Here is a short list of some of the people I listen to and go to with my questions, anyone of the peeps have a deep knowledge of the game;
