Hiya all you lovely people.

I´m on the first week in bloom with 2 mango haze and 2 super silver haze.

Been in veg for four weeks with this light :

Week 1 20/4 week 2 18/6 week 3 16/8 week 4 14/10

and now first week in bloom ( still under blue mh light, going hps next week ).

Dont panic, its organic!

Growing in Guanokalong soil and with just a little of guanokalong NUTRITION for grow.

Today a gave my little darlings 2 liters of water ( they live in 8liters pots ) and ph in water was 6.5 going in and the following for the different girls going out of the soil.

Mango 1 was 7.1
Mango 2 was 7.3
SSH 1 was 7.0
SSH 2 was 7.3

Are these numbers ok or should i adjust my water next time i feed them?

Peace and Love ya´ll

Justin

how are the plants?

They are good, real good. Green and looking sexy, so i have no problems now, not at all.

Just that i am still a newbie at this and i just want to be on the safe side.

And i read some article on ph in veg and bloom, that one should be around 6.5 in the water in veg.

What should i aim for in bloom?

Gave them some food yesterday and lowered the ph to 6.4 and the run-off was the same at last feeding time.

Love Justin

just water at 6.2, over the next few days while the soil dries the ph will slowly climb to 7, then when its time to water ph water at 6.2 again...keep doing this until runoff is closer to where you want it

its not a specific mark, but generally you want the water comming out to be no further than 0.1-0.3 difference than the water going in....

generally soil ph should be between 6.0 - 7.0

to test what the soil ph is take some pure 0ppm Ro water with a neutral ph....pour through plant to check runoff ph, this should be your actual soil ph....for example lets say the runoff says 6.8, then i would water at 6.3 to get it to level its self out.

hope this made sense

I think it made perfect sense my friend.

Will keep check on run-off and try to lower it back under 7.0.

And like i wrote earlier, the plants ( now just two of them ) look good. Just want to gather as much info as i can for my next grow, and the next etc etc.

Learn by growing, bur even by reading and asking :D

Thanks again.

Peace Justin

Now i have watered them two times in a row with ph close to 6.0 but ph in run-off water keep rising. By 0.1 each time. Run off water is now 7.5, so i have a 1.5 different in water going in and coming out.
Should i start to worry?

The problem is that my tap water have a real high ph... 8.1-8.2 so i use citrus to lower it down, can this have something to do with my ph-problem?

Starting to get worried my plants will suffer from this in the next week, do i have to?

Sorry for bad english.

Peace Justin

yes that would def have something to do with your problem...ive never had that happen tome before...my tap water is 7.5 ph...i use ph- to lower is to 6.0 and feed with that...no problems.....never heard of anyone flushing with 6.0ph water and ph rising to 8ph...maybe someone with experience with this could chime in and help you out....

a side note...with tap water at 8ph + it would def be hard water...that could also have something to do with your problem...again i have no experience in this area so my advice would be a shot in the dark, maybe someone with more experience in this are could help

rain water or distilled would be a good idea since your water is so alkkaline

Yeah, i was thinking that. But i will take fresh snow and let that melt. I live deep in the woods so the snow that falls here is really clean.

Gonna check the ph on melting snow water :)

you are doing the right thing reducing the pH of your water with citrus - although citric acid powder might be better (and still organic) - thats what i use to reduce my alkaline tap water which is 8.5-9
and my plants seem fine.

Sound good mate.

I wanna ask you another thing then.

You as well as me have a real high ph i your tap water, where is your ph i water coming out of the soil? I really dont like that i have this big gap beetwen water in and out. Some says it dosent matter and some says it does matter. And i dont have a clue...hehe
