tie the main stem down as far as you can without breaking it. pull it a little further every couple days until the stem is almost completely horizontal.

also try some super cropping before the tie downs. just a nice pinch to the stem and let it fall over with out it breaking then tie it down. But you got the concept for sure and on your way to success. heres a pic of my TomHill Haze F2 i LST. did the super crop method first before the tie down.

your stem looks like it should still be plenty flexible. just keep leaning it all the way till the stem touches the pot, when it gets to the pot tie it down. then right above the tie bend it right or left, your choice, and then tie it to the pot about 2 inches from the last tie, then keep bending and tying it either along the rim of the pot or however you feel is best but no sharp angles, you want larger than 90 degree angles like 120 degree plus. heres one of my old ones, i put screws into the rim and tie twist ties or that thick string they use on kites and helium balloons. sometimes i drill a hole instead of putting a screw depending on what works best for whatever pot. i even did one with rubber bands for anchors.

this one i just used a simple plant stake (as simple as anything you can bend into a U shape that wont unbend.) to stake it to the soil till the grown was on an even level. that tall one is the lowest shoot i think.

side view different plant i think.

i know i said no sharp 90 degree bends, its possible but only on certain types of plants, the ones with the hollower stems seem to do it better.

heres an old one with screws and twist ties.
200961216w1017.jpg

etc...

that one i just pulled the top down and let the rest grow up.

didn't mean to fill up your thread with my pics just trying to help.

so what you wanna do is were ever you wanna bend it place the stock stem in your finger and apply pressure and squeeze. you will feel the stem give way and then just bend them over. you might have to use 2 hands to help with the squeeze on the stem depending on how thick it is. Grab, Squeeze, Bend, Tie Down. heres a good link for LST and understanding it a bit better. https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=98355

Also heres a diagram of what LST should look like.

That diagram is funny.... Just curious, are you useing a 50 gallon bucket or what because your theory of a long main curled around like that doesn't take into consideration all the side branches that need to be tied down too.... You would need a super big container to actually pull that off.

No, actually you don't. I do this with my moms in 5" square pots - you can wrap the stem clear around in a circle.

JC, I like using those black paper clip/clamps for an anchor point on plastic pots. You can clamp them on the rim and flip up one of the handles to tie off to. Also, it helps if you tie off the main stem to the opposing side of the pot from where you are pulling the top to - it keeps the stem vertical from the soil up to where you want to pull the stem over, and keeps it from trying to uproot the plant.

lol i don't even know how you can say you would need 50 gallons to wrap the main stem around in a circle, i posted a pic up there of me doing it in a 2 quart pot. no need to tie down any side branches, the side branches grow up in little colas.

thats all lst is, redirecting the energy from the top cola to the side branches. instead of 1 big cola and a bunch of side buds and popcorn you just get a bunch of semi even cola buds.

lookin good. you got the right idea. keep pulling the top of the plant below the level of the rest of the branches till you have it as even as you want it then let it grow. they should all grow roughly the same rate with each other.

Nice work stihgnobevoli! Thats how its done!
In another couple weeks that plant will have done a
