been a while since an update! wow where does this time go? been spending a lot of time with my girl who came to visit me and showing her some growing tips for when i give her some clones.
Sophia is doing great. I hope she is going to be ready in around 10 days considering I am going on vacation for December. Shes showing about 40% orange hairs. Day 50 in flower. Here are some pics!
Tomorrow will be 8 weeks in flower. Suspense is building so bad lately, I just want to chop her down already. Edges of leaves are starting to turn yellow and brown.. I figure shes getting close. Looking at around 50% amber hairs. Need to find something so I can look at the trichomes.
back from vacation. Here is the harvest from the main plant. (minus two large branches that I gave to my roomate for harvesting/drying/curing while I was away, so this is not included in weigh out). Its drier than what I wanted it to be, but this is my mistake considering I couldnt dry it myself.
Total weight is 33g fully trimmed.
Buds are very light and fluffy. I purchased 3 more 40w bulbs to replace my 23w's so hopefully this will help for my next yield.
more pruning will get rid of the little pocorn buds and help the main buds gain weight/density. Also trim off the fan leaves, its very important to do with cfl's.
i ran thru 2 packs of ice over the last coupla years.....got at least 3? phenos, 1 of which smelled like candy mixed with strawberry syrup mixed with sugar!....n'other words, she smelled very sweeeeeet....had a good effect, very hybridy, nothing spectacular but def. worked
33g from one plant. The other plants were clones I took before I started flowering. I have two plants in there now.
The plexiglass is used to enclose the lights. I have a separate ventilation system for the lights to better control temperature. It also stops the lights from getting too close to the bulbs and crisping. Its cut to fit into my container and held in place by 4 bolts (one in each corner).
