This is a cutting that my friends paid a good amount for. I've not run it before, but have seen a room of it in flower at around week 6 or 7. We'll be comparing this, to what we've been seeing around here. I'm sure it will be great, but I'm excited to run the Animal, New Wave, and all the other crosses we're going to make. The S1's will be fun to dig through as well. I've passed it to a few friends, and I hope that it lives up to their expectations. One of them is well versed in the cookies, and will know if it is what it's supposed to be. If anyone else has pictures of theirs in veg. or flower. Please feel free to share.

It's AFAIK GSC

It showed lots of purple stem in the rockwool cubes. Now in the coco, it's greening up it's stems. The leaves are dark purplish/blue. It's not because I feed high. If anything I feed low traditionally. H&G Coco A+B 4-5 ML/G, Roots Excel 1.1ml/G, Drip Clean .4ml/G. These get hand watered and eventually will get put on a tray with drippers DTW.

as was predicted earlier, the GSC will be crazy this year with fakes, hype, bullshit, etc... So i was on Thugtrader the other day as I like to do every now and then for fun and there was folks selling cuts of it and the best was a guy who said he had GSC males for trade!!!! Oh boy its gonna be at a all time high of wacky-ness with this strain!

My friend from socal came up last weekend, showed me some blue cookies, I was not impressed. I do look forward to trying some GSC though.

yea it all depends on batch...i saw 2 different kinds of cookies today both the regular GSC cut...one came out looking like fortune and the other had purple tint...

i talked to my friend again today i mentioned that people were confused about blue vs fortune vs GSC.....he knows the guy who made the strain personally and basically told me they are ALL THE SAME!! it just depends who is growing it, what method, etc....

GSC that is grown by people in the north and east bay (outside of the SF circle) are mostly refered to as fortune cookies......fortune cookies is just regular cookies or a less vigorous cut of the same mom....its usually used to described cookies that werent grown to the fullest, its green dense, probably week 6-7..the name fortune was made because my friend was kinda pissed at a middleman who gave the cookies cut to his dads commercial cash cropping warehouse and always came through with less quality cookies, they gave it the name fortune as a diss but the name caught on for any kind of cookies that werent top notch....

regular GSC that is grown longer and comes out really nice, but doesnt purple up...is called "platinum cookies" or just regular "cooks"...

anytime GSC purples up, due to cold temps or whatever, they are nicknamed blue cookies...its not a seperate cut or cross.

sometimes, since animal cookies always color up..the animals are called "blue cookies" too instead of animal.....only a few people are familiar with the term animal if you have heard it on the street we know the same folks..but most people will probably still refer to animal as blue cookies..

im just really amazed these names even caught on because i was in the room with the guys smoking when they made up half these damn names lol.....wiz khalifa has animal cookie in his stash jar right now..this is a pic from new batch that i didnt grow supposedly this grower uses co2 so homie has been calling them "co2 cookies"

haha yea its pretty funny because alot of people who dont grow think "co2 cookies" is on some special new growing method lmao....

trust me im saving some for yall to sample...its very very tempting to look at that jar everyday in the stash and not want to pinch something out of it...but i keep telling myself 420 420 420!! so until then, smoking SFV and bought some co2 cookies to smoke on...

hahahaha.....i think they are doing a decent job. hiphop and marketing go hand in hand...and most of the music industry and their fanbase are 420 friendly...


im also curious as to what the next fad will be, perhaps it might lie in the cookie crosses....i always thought blueberry was going to catch on but it never really did here in norcal, there are a couple other strains that are being developed and grown all over the country, once it gets grown by more growers and circulates the momentum will pick up if its a hot strain...good OG kush, stuff like OGxChem, top notch sour d, any very well grown frosty, manicured bud is still selling easily. demand is pretty high so even shit thats like "oh we had that 200 times already" (GDP, blue dream) is still selling...

i dont think ive seen a batch of gsc that DIDNT purp up a little bit....surprised to hear from prop that ALL cookies with purp is blue cookies, as that pic of his c02 cookies is purped up nicely, is that blue cookies too?




yeah im interested to see what the next hype will be, i think a lot of us on icmag are on the cusp of all things new in cannaworld so the masses prob havent even heard of gsc, once they do it will get even bigger so i expect this gsc trend to continue for a while at least


i think some other stuff that will be the new hype is a nice haze/kush hybrid im working on lol

edit- so i found out that rapper berner or burner whatever it is, he works at the hemp center in the city, i bet if you wanted to find a cut that might be a good place to start, not saying they have them but if you want to try cookies ive heard they have nice batches of the flower there

the hemp center doesnt have the best samples, they are known to hoard the nice top colas to themselves and only put the smaller buds on the shelf lol....pretty sure they arent selling clones there

better cookies sometimes at green door, garden of eden (hayward)...i never buy from club 60 an 8th is steep i usually pay 250 a zone for them from friend..

i like GDP its good for selling but not one of my favorite smokers or grows....smoke is nice and smooth lavender if its grown right but most isnt and tastes like shit...its straight commercial weed because most of the damn commercial croppers who dont know shit about

Looks beautiful!! Ive tried the GSC from a couple places, hemp center, green door, royal remedies(san bernardino), Hollyweed, i must say green door and royal remedies have the best quality Gsc, royal remedies has platinum cookies, and girls scout cookies which came from a bag seed which was not bad, but the platinum cookies for 25 a gram all the way up, too pricey and in my opinion cherry pie is up my alley. But the cookies are starting to spread, happy about that The high is amazing...Maybe there pushing the cookies out without a real dry, last batch my last nugs were the most tasteful
