(e.g. Ron Paul) are the status quo.
:biglaugh:

Wow. wow. wow. wow. wow. And you like "rational"?

I'm agnostic. I like RP even though I don't agree with everything he says. His message is anything, but status quo.

You are entitled to your opinion as hilarious as I think it is.

I consider Ron Paul conventional. As in pre depression, do-nothing-toward-monetary-policy conventional. We have an entire political party who wouldn't budge in economic crisis other than to refund revenues to the top.

It happened in the Hoover administration and every Republican administration prior. It's happened ever since Reagan so that's pretty darn conventional. Even when it defies conventional reason and logic.

well, i certainly prefer a vibrant democracy to a theocracy. (that's why i referenced Ron Paul's stance on the separation of church and state). i prefer progress to regression (Ron Paul wants to go back). i prefer rational thinkers to magical thinkers (Ron Paul). but old, white, millionaire congressmen who believe in supernatural sky gods (e.g. Ron Paul) are the status quo. they are holding us back.

and if you really believe i've exposed you to a dogma (something i argued against earlier) then please, by all means, tell me what it is. and be sure to quote me accurately. if not, you should probably apologize, or at least admit you still don't understand the word.

a vibrant democracy? we have a democratic republic, and its not even that anymore its really a plutocracy.

your thinking in terms of decades, think centuries, and take into account we are definatley unique in what was proposed by the constitution and our founding farthers compared to pretty much every civilization/country, where all men are free.

being only a few hundred yrs old,we are already reverting back to a plutocracy ruled by sharholders of banks.

also saying he's going to force his religion on anyone is halarious,as we have freedom of religion and he's already stated he doesnt agree with what people ingest (marijuana) but its their right to do what they want to their body,so i fully beleive he'll do the same with religion.

so infact we are reverting not going foward but backward with anyone other than paul.

Itisme- Thanks for keeping up the passion for your position, and all the work it takes to put it out there. Its been yielding alot of information and opinions that are very informative and entertaining bro.
One thing, if you get Fox business network, watch Freedom Watch with Judge Napalitano. He is a pure Libertarian and spends about half his hour plugging RP, nearly every day.

I'll apologize when I can see what you want done for America. It's not fair for somebody to come in a thread labeled Ron Paul 2012!!! Your thoughts on who we should pick for our "Cause"? Your pick and why? It is in the title! You see to actively participate in discussion you have to offer something constructive.....It is easy to find a single issue with any one candidate....Not that your hiding behind that.....So if you don't know who you got? What do you want done? Why? Are those answerable questions? They to tough?

there you go again telling me how to discuss Ron Paul. as you noted earlier, this is not your thread. nor are they your rules. i told you what i think. if you don't have a rebuttal or defense of Ron Paul's troubling social conservatism that's ok with me. i know you mind is closed. but whining about fairness is weak. and really, if the OP is cool with my presence here - what business is it of yours?

watch Freedom Watch with Judge Napalitano
Put my DVR to record series last night. Thx

Thanks even more for the support. I know a little bitty bit how Ron Paul must feel. I feel lucky that we have a guy so high on principles and willing to die for us! If he gets even close I fear for him. Don't get in a limo Ron!
Cojito:
we need fewer old, white, religious, millionaire congressman in government,
What is wrong with white people? You sound like a racist!
Cojito:
until then the burden of proof is on you
Cojito:
there you go again telling me how to discuss Ron Paul.

There are your posts....It appears you put a "burden of proof on me!" I only asked for a candidate, idea, something on topic...That kinda stuff :D The kind of stuff this thread was created for! :D

Consider yourself lucky, me. Your thread isn't being trolled by the walking homophobic slur. But your pejoratives are no less weak.

It happened in the Hoover administration and every Republican administration prior.
Hoover was a self described progressive. He did intervene in the Great Depression (hawley smoot etc) to the dismay of his Treasury Secretary. He just didn't intervene to the extent that the super progressives (ie FDR) did. With the New Deal and then the Newer Deal.

Government meddlers all.

How does a guy who tattoos his neck with the twin towers, joins the military after the drumbeat for war in Iraq, while another war is going on in Afghanistan - not - expect to be deployed?
Itisme:
He is a pussy and coward Discobiscuit....;Probably really stupid too!
What else could it be....he don't have clue what is going on over there after 10 years fighting. He probably counts beans!

National Defense is what he wants.....Military Industrial Complex is what "everybody else" wants!

No bro....Your comment was weak!

Where were you going with that question?
You imply he didn't expect to be deployed. He has been there for ten years
Wanting to come home isn't = to expecting to not get deployed!

You imply that because he enlisted 10 year ago, he should had known that war would never end......I guess..........

What else could it mean?

He a coward?

What?

Discobiscuit:
reference the part you edited, Einstein
Thanks bro :D Edited, Published, Wrote, Hell you don't know the difference.....CARL!

The pitch that everybody's against RP is unusual. Many people disagree with his policy ideas, from House colleagues to the general electorate. It's just policy differences.
