IMO Sour Bubble will dominate that cross, the males from BOGs gear are just too strongly influential for their own good. I hope I'm wrong, but I've seen more than a handful of SB hybrids and you could basically pass it of as plain SB with exception of the SourDubb.
Also the reason GSC is so special is it's exotic qualities. I may get flamed for this but SB has connections to bubba, believe what you will, I've grown both and they ARE related. Not saying 'kush' and bubba aren't fantastic plants, but they give almost opposite highs of what makes the GSC so unique. I know there's almost half the genetic input from OG in GSC, but the plant that was chose doesn't represent OG that much. I honestly think much of the exoticness comes from Durban, but most wouldn't know from not trying any because Durban is some ugly buds. The GSC gives her a fantastic face lift...Bland indicas hybrids are so 2011.
I really hope you prove me wrong greenluv
FWIW I think backcrossing to a durban male would be the titties. But what the fuck do I know.
Durban Poison grown outdoor organically with only tap water, SuperBat Flower, and Molasses (Krunch these came down mid October so you could get away with 9-10 weeks indoor, thing is a hybrid to GSC would bring down the flowering time, hopefully or at least you'd be looking for a quick pheno)
Most racy weed I've grown, I unfortunately sold almost all of it before trying it, based on looks solely. The person I sold it too got so high he left a QP at a college party. He said he was so high he just laughed about it initially, after that though we both almost cried realizing how great it was and I didn't keep any cuts.
Writing all this make me realize how long it would take to find a quality sativa hybrid and the patience, time, and effort it would take to not only make seeds, but flower those seeds out to hopefully find that ONE. Like you said Krunch, grow space is real estate and projects like this make you lose space fast. So for now I won't jump ahead and worry about making any crosses, I'm more concerned now with acquiring a clean GSC cut. I think I know some people that might have her though.
